South Jersey Mini Marathon - Post Christmas

Hey Pokepop,

I'm from Northeast PA (currently playing in the Fl meta due to my college being located down here) and i was wondering what good hotels there are to stay in?? We are broke college studenmts and 99 bucks a night is a lot! Also, is there anyone car pooling there? Me and my friend (22 years old and 21 years old respectively) aren't sure how we are gonna get there but we want to play in cities real bad!

There is a Days Inn near All Things Fun in Berlin, but it's not as nice and not much less.

I tried to reserve a room, on the link provided, from Sunday, Dec. 26th through Wednesday, Dec. 30th and it gave me the following error....



I will try later this week to call them if the website continues to give this error.

All of them except Jesters can hold at least 100 players.
And I'm working on an overflow location for that.

Yes, they are still honoring the rate. The reservation desk attendant found it in the computer and said the rate to me.

If I am able to come, I would probably ask you to extend it to Sunday, the plan being to arrive in NJ Sunday afternoon and then checking out Thursday morning. It's all very planning stage atm.
 
It looks like I'm not going to be able to make the Monday event so coming up on Sunday afternoon is most likely off the table for me. Signs are better for coming up Monday afternoon though, allowing us to make Tues, Wed, and Thurs events. So, that's one step in the planning down. Still quite a few others.

Any chance that the start time for the first event can be pushed back a tiny bit? I'm just saying with the Blizzard hitting Sunday/Monday, giving people an extra 30-60 minutes might not be a bad idea.

We cancelled our driving trip for this very reason.

Yeah, if the weather is bad, we will have an extended registration for this reason.

But if you can make it in Sunday before it gets too late, it shouldn't be too bad.
It's a straight 10 minutes down Rt 78 from the hotel to the first event on Monday if you can make it.
 
Being from northern Virginia, I'm distrustful of snow forecasts because it will often snow everywhere else BUT northern Virginia so I don't put too much stock in them to decide my plans. However, since the trip means venturing outside of nova, are the snow forecasts reliable in NJ or along the way?

I think I'll wait for accumulation numbers before I change any plans.
