Shoots! I won't be able to make it until later in the day unfortunately.
Would my kids and I be able to participate in some of the side events if we couldn't show up until after lunch?
Or do we have to participate in the inital tournament for the side events?

Yes, you will be able to play in the "Side Events". But, it will cost you $5.00 for "Constructed" and the regular Entry Fee for "Drafts". If you play in the "Stadium Challenge", you could play in the "Constructed" events for FREE!!!

If anyone wants to play some Pokemon today (Friday), meet us as Room 108 at the Howard Johnsons Express on Copeland (next to the Texas Land & Cattle) after 5pm.

Otherwise, we'll see the rest of you tonight at the dinner/staff meeting or tomorrow at the Stadium.

After traveling from Raleigh, NC... we have realized that we forgot to bring 2 rare candy... Can anyone loan us these cards??? PLEASE?? We appreciate any help!!! Thanks!

Rody, tell me what you'll be wearing. I will have 1-2 spare candies for you to borrow.

Well... I'm the "mom"... and I'll have a LARGE CLEAR dice box about 12" x 8" filled with ONLY unique 12 sided dice :) ... What will I be wearing? Capri pants (i.e. the pants don't reach the floor and sandals)... THANKS for the help!!!

Just a reminder for those of you listening in: If you tune in before the live broadcast starts, you'll be disconnected when the switchover occurs and have to connect again.

Oh, this is no problem at all. I am loaning out a Blaziken, 2 Swamperts, a Swampert ex, (maybe) Friend Balls, and most likely more than that to people who need stuff last-second. I wish 'im luck. :)

In the words of Birch, remember all,

Alright, I wish I could go but I can't. But hey I wish you all the best of luck and let the best man or woman win. :)

Just to let you folks know, the live broadcast has started (though coverage won't start for another hour or so).

5:30 PM Update: I've switched back to basic mode due to lack of contact with the event site.
