For anyone traveling by air to Nationals- if your airport offers Southwest- you may want to check out their current deal. They have one way's starting at $49.00 & up. I just booked round trip tickets with outbound price to MO for $49.00 and homebound ticket price for $69.00 - that's round trip for around $120.00

I'm Traveling southwest too, and it's great to it's opening seating *they don't assign you a specific seat* I also used Southwest for Orando and Columbus last year.
