This will be a grand event--we have lots of huge prizes (including thousands $$$ in scholarship money), we have vendors onsite, great competition and fun with all your fellow players, and, of course, the expert judge and volunteer staff.

Side Events
Draft events will be 8 person pods, single elimination.

Booster drafts will be offered throughout the day and will consist of single-elimination rounds—$20 entry fee; prizes = 5 boosters for 1st, 3 boosters for 2nd, and 2 boosters for 3rd-4th.

Constructed tournaments will be available and will consist of single-elimination rounds—$5 entry fee; prizes = 5 boosters for 1st, 3 boosters for 2nd, and 2 boosters for 3rd-4th.

Team side events will be offered as interest warrants. Pricing and prizes presented onsite.

Guess what!!! Denise Barlock (that's me) WILL be at this event! Just by accident, I have to be at an event for work in the same hotel starting the Sunday after this... so I'm coming on Friday and will see everyone Saturday morning!

hey just a quick question Kim?? will we be compd for parking?? how's that going to work?? any idea?? just curious, and want to know where we need to park or possibley get dropped off - any and all info on the parking situation would help out.

Unless anyone has an objection to it, I'm gonna take some videos of the tournament and put them on youtube. (possibly editing them all together through iMovie)
 
I absalutely cannot wait for this!!! I'm driving eight hours just to go! fortunately.... we were already going to go there that weekend, I SO lucked out! The first year of regionals for me and I'm going to 2 of em'! Both in cali!


PS: I am also taking video to put on youtube, as I'm a serious director: been doing it for 4 years :) Can't wait for that either.

I'm probably going to be driving out there Friday night and napping in my car until morning; does anyone know of somewhere in the area where I could park safely? Somewhere dark and quiet?

lol.. once again I'm harmed in some way before a tournament. Last night I got hit almost directly in the eye by a ricochet BB pellet at a friend's house. I had to go to the emergency room to get the BB removed and now I'm on 4 different treatments until it's healed. I have 2 different painkillers as well. (anyone want a vicodin hookup? jk.. jk...)

So yeah, I'm thankful it wasn't a quarter inch to the right, and that the BB gun was only pumped once.

And if anyone on the pokegym hasn't met me before, I'm easily identifiable now. Look for the kid with the messed up left eye. ;x

So yeah, seeya (granted, a little blurry) on Saturday guys.
