If I have a dark pokemon with Special Dark energy attached, what happens if I use an attack that does no damage to the defending active pokemon? (e.g. Sableye's Impersonate attack) The conditions I read are that the attacking Pokemon must be Dark, and it must attack. So even if I do no damage to the Active Pokemon, the Special Dark Energy still does damage.
Text of Special Dark Energy:
If the Pokemon Darkness Energy is attached to attacks, the attack does 10 more damage to the Active Pokemon (before applying Weakness and Resistance). Ignore this effect if the Pokemon that Darkness Energy is attached to isn't Dark. Darkness Energy provides Dark Energy. (Doesn't count as a basic Energy card.)
Thanks,
Jeff
