I've gotten fed up with all of these different blastoise variants, so I finally am posting the most obvious, most powerful, yet least posted strat for blasty.

pokemon 23
4 dunsparce
4 squirtle
3 wartortle
4 blastoise ex
4 wooper
4 quagsire

trainers 20
3 steven's advice
3 TVR
4 battle frontier
1 scott
2 warp point
3 celio's network
4 rare candy

energy
17 water energy

eat that!

I like it but my only beef is the limited amount of damage dealt and HP on Quag. Other than that, I agree with the speed and potency. My personal favorite for a speedy water deck is Raining to Wooper, Swooping to Feebas/Magikarp and evolving. Its a little slower and requires more cards but it fits my style a little better. A benched Suicune ex would be nice with Reflect Energy. I guess that's relevant to this thread.

i think it would be better if you add 2 articuno ex, it does less damage but the ER2 effect is very good :)

I think the reason for 4 candy is a better chance of turn 1 Blasty. I don't really have any fixes that would make the deck much better, looks good. I thought of trying something similar to this myself but wasn't too sure about it because this has to be FAST to be really good. So, how does it work for you? Have you used it in any tournaments? If so, how did it do?
