Hey guys I was playing a game with a friend and had an issue come up regarding spirit links. I searched the web but couldn't find anything about it. Is it allowed to play a spirit link on a Pokemon other than the one it's meant for? For instance, playing a Gardevoir spirit link on a Xerneas to burn a card from your hand before playing Biance (which lets you draw until you have six cards). The card itself does not say that it has to be played on Gardevoir-EX, and I couldn't find any ruling saying that it has to be either. Thanks for your help.
