Ok, so here is the deck list:

3-3-1 Gliscor (LA)
3 Spiritomb (AR)
2 Mr. Mime (MT)
2 Unown Q
2-1 Luxray GL
2-2 Claydol (GE) -no duh
2 Uxie (LA)
1 Azelf (LA)

Pokemon = 24

4 Roseanne's Research
4 Bebe's Search
2 Cyrus' Conspiracy
1 TGW

Supporters = 11

4 Poke Turn
2 NM
2 Premier Ball
1 Luxury Ball
1 Great Ball
4 SSU

Trainers = 16

3 BTS

Stadiums = 3

5 :fighting: energy
1 :lightning: energy

Energy = 6

The strategy is to level-up your Gliscor and Shoot Poison, then use Burning Poison to burn and return to your hand, or use Night Slash to do 60 damage (belt: 80) and switch with a bench pokemon. The goal is to bring up spiritomb after you attack, leaving the defending pokemon trainer less, and because of shoot poison, unable to retreat. Next turn, you drop a BTS and retreat spiritomb for free using unown q, bring up another gliscor which was benched during your last turn, level-up, repeat process.

So, any suggestions, comments, or opinions are welcomed!

I like the 2-1 Luxray GL line, so I'm not taking out a luxray

any suggestions as to what should come out for the 4th SSU?

-2 Mr. Mime
+1 Gliscor lvlx (Just in case the first one dies)

- all the balls
+call energy

You can also replace the SSU with memory berry if you want to return if you have the right gligar

You can''t have 3 gliscor and 2 gliscor lv. x Don't take out mr. mime. Call energy isn't a bad idea though.

You know, I dont even think you need Luxray if your lock is set up fast enough, hitting for 80 with expertbelt can two shot almost anything

That's an interesting point. Maybe take out the luxray and add in two pokemon reversals. It would save you a lot of stting up and bench space;

Unfortunately, I currently own 0 call energy :(, but I'll consider the reversal idea, thanks! So:

-2-1 Luxray
-4 Poke Turn
-2 Cyrus

+3 pokemon reversal
+6 ???

This one wins. I came in second in my last two City Championships, but it is extremely boring to run. Once you get the lock, just don't let go of it and you should be able to hang on for your 8 second (40 minute) ride...

The only times I lost with this deck is when I got frustrated and broke my own lock. I even took out a couple of Palkia Lock decks.

24 Pokemon
4X Spiritomb
4X Gligar lv. 19
3X Gliscor lv. 43
1X Gliscor lv. X
2X Baltoy
2X Claydol
2X Crobat G
2X Unown K
2X Unown Q
1X Azelf (LA)
1X Uxie (LA)

27 Trainers
4X Bebe’s Search
4X Broken Time-Space
4X Poke Blower +
4X Poke Turn
4X Roseanne’s Research
2X Premier Ball
2X Warp Point
1X Looker’s Investigation
1X Luxury Ball
1X Night Maintenance

9 Energy
4X Call Energy
5X Fighting Energy

You could switch out the Roseanne for Collectors, since having an Energy isn't exactly critical and swap the Blowers for Reversals.

Luxray can get the lock on more effectively, as you don't need to flip for the switching effect unlike Pokemon Reversal. If you run 4 Poketurn, you might want to consider Crobat G to control their poison damage so that they always die during your turn or at the end of their turn so you can lock another Pokemon. You run no Unown K, so your opponent's active Pokemon will eventually die, and they will send up another Pokemon to be evolved when you Shoot Poison it.

Is there anything you can do about Plox? It generally gets a Psychic Lock on (which absolutely kills Glisctomb) faster than you can set up the lock, and if you do set up the lock first, most Gardevoir builds right now run Mesprit. Mesprit will break the lock and send the game in their favor.

nekizalb- the truth is, i don't know how to deal with GG. I'll just hope for the best!

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO COUNTER GG IN THIS DECK, WHILE STILL KEEPING IT CONSISTENT?

waynegg- if you have only lost once, how did you come in second in your last two city championships?

Very Simple He said he broke his own lock 1 game.* Which would cause the loss. * And the 2nd maybe He dropped or split the prize for the other cities. There could be any number for him stating what he did.

Luxray can get the lock on more effectively

Only problem with that is with 2 Gliscors being rotated around (so you can level up each turn), 2 Spiritomb being rotated around (necessary evil), a Claydol (for the speed you must develope and early), and a spot for Crobat G to keep the lock on and to force the KO as your opponent's turn ends (the whole premise to this deck) there is absolutely no room for Luxray without sacrificing consistency...

Umm, because I missed the 's' at the end of times. Pretty harsh considering you are the one asking for help with your deck. I was trying to help you. If you just want to be hateful, good luck... and help yourself because you won't be getting any more from me.

BTW GG is easy enough to get around with this deck. If you can't figure that out on your own, then maybe you should try something a little more elementary.
