Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Spoinkmaster's Wi-Fi tournament circuit

Yeah sign me up for the second one. I've never done much competitive battling but I've gotta get my feet wet at one point or another.

I just recently got turned onto the whole ev training so I wanna see if my hard work will pay off.

Hey Sketch that Shiny Garchomp is freaking sick man. Excellent IV although its Speed leaves something to be desired for. LOL Keep it up.

No prob, i wish i could get a shiny with Trip IVs. I'm still woking on it though. I'll get better at breeding some day.:thumb:

i'd like to sign up... i didnt think they'd fill up within one night. so yeah... sign me up for w/e is still available.

I will show all of you EV trainers that any idiot can win with a trained Pokemon, but it takes a truly good strategist to win a battle withregular untrained Pokemon.

I'm telling you all, it's a waste of time to do all that EV training when all you need is a good strategy. Use what you've got. I don't know how to EV train, I never intend to. All I know is that it's a cheap and time-wasting way to make all your pokemon Uber.

K, I'll see ya in the second round then.

Bioyoshi: I can't play today, tomorrow is fine though as long as I don't have a new project assigned :*(

Umm, yeah. I agree that a good strategy can work and all (maybe in RBY), but ultimately, say if you and your opponent both have good strategies, the winner is going to be the one with the IV/EVed Pokemon, not randomly trained ones. Furthermore, it is not a cheap strategy, all you're doing is training your Pokemon to be the best they can be stat-wise.

Also Skarmbliss, when is a good time to battle? PM me or something.

Actually, try no losses. I'm an expert Strategist, not to mention since I have friends who EV train, I know all about what EV trainers go for for each different pokemon, so instead of going for a pokemon's usual stat weaknesses, I go for the fatal flaw that the EV training leaves. Everything has a weakness, and I have a talent for homing in on that weakness. Now, I've only actually battled my two friends in D/P, and they're not quite as good at startegy, so I don't know how I'd stack up against really good strategists who EV train, but I'm confiddent in my abilities. Especially with my Blissey by my side. HAIL SARA-JANE THE BLISSEY!!! And also my Monferno, The Doctor. A cookie for anyone wo figures out who they are named after.
