Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

St. Louis Area Cities...Sanctioned and Confirmed

And DONE...with 2 new Titlists in the mix.

First. Thanks to GameNite...For those who love gaming, this store is really cool, with games you can't find anywhere else...board games and the like. The puzzles are really cool too. The Staff and owner were really great in helping us pull this off, and keep our sense of humor through the day!!! Check it out, South County Mall, St. Louis, Missouri.

Second.....Judy Whicker and Randy Cates...SUPERJUDGES. With all the newer players, and all of the people, you both, well, I couldn't have done it without you BOTH. EVERY player seemed to leave happy. That comes from a great team effort. Randy. Good call. Peter would have been wiped out after that one.

Third....the players. We were set up for 44, expecting about 30, and had 59 players ROCK their way into this one. GameNite has some great players and parents! WOW WOW WOW!

We had 59 total players. 5 rounds and a top 4 for my Juniors!!! Same for Masters. Seniors only had 11, but it was good clean fun.

In the end......(yes Brian, a Linkin Park reference for your win)

Juniors....Dema B wins his 3rd over Riley D...Riley D is really playing GREAT over the past few events, a player to WATCH!!! Great job to all JUNIORS! This was a TOUGH FIELD>

Seniors...Brian H over Matt H. Brian wins his first of the season (way overdue) over Matt H...the Belleville Power (and Superjudge Judy's grandson! YAY)

Masters...well, Colin gets dispatched in the semis along with Jason F....leaving Zach Z. and Jerry E. to battle for the title...2 players who have not won one...and....In the End......Jerry E wins with MACHAMP over the "Tickle Me" deck which I am code naming "Elmo" (Tangrowth). Jerry E. for the WIN!

Jerry is known to most players as the dad of Lauryn (who was sick, sorry girly), but Dad did it! Just wish she was there to see it!

Yes, I posted decks (the season is over, new set coming out). Bark at me later.

So, we had 357 players over our 7 cities, an average of 51 per for the math challenged. Given one of our venues could only hold 24, and 2 others MAXXED at 40, we rocked this.

Next events...

PreReleases starting on January 31, Gamenite. Belleville on February 1, Eureka on February 2, Mid Rivers on February 3, St. Peters on February 4, Evansville on February 6, Valley Park on February 7... Feels like Chaunakah.

States - Missouri States held in Eureka on March 21st.

Regionals - Held in St. Louis (south County Mall, in a HUGE Space) on April 18th...

Mark your calendars.

Congrats Jerry. I have NEVER seen a guy roll 3-4 heads on EVERY Hurricane Punch, and a T10 Kingdra =(

AND THANKS ALOT! for not having an event on a ACT date =)))))))

Yeah, I'll give you that one.... the dice were EXTRA lucky against you.... You should have had me after you got set up... I was hoping you didn't have enough energy discarded to kill my last Champ.... If I didn't hit 3 on my last shot, I was toast.

It pays me back for my 0 out of 15 on 5 TSD drops at last years Nats.....

Vince: Congrats on a nice CC season. Very nice numbers across the board! Sorry I couldnt make it up to Evansville. Sometimes that 4 letter word gets in the way.....WORK! I had a week of court scheduled Jan 5 on.
