OK, this kinda scares me a little

i am walking back to my dorm when low and behold, A BLACK CAT walks right past me

now i'm not a superstitious man, but that is distressing.......
 
I think I've seen that cat on occasion. But, being the cat person I am, I'm entertained by it. Incidentally, I seem to recall hearing that black cats are good luck in Britain.

I had a black cat when I was little. I was also born on Friday the 13th. Seriously. Maybe there's some freaky bad-luck-karma-whatever going on with that explaining why I can't find a ride. *goes to friggen SEEK*

orange...... i feel your pain...... there have been times that i have come extremely close to slippin up since there is a noticeable difference between this board and those on seek.......... rotfl

well i haven't the slightest which one is which, i barely know the difference between south tower and north tower..... and i live in the south tower....

I just hope they clarify the VIP package thing, so we know what to tell Newman and my boys...

If they keep what is up on the website, the war is on....and Newman will be there with WAILS blazing!

Honestly the VIP package going to the State the city Championships were held makes more sence. I could never figure out why PUI was going to do over 300 individual evaluations of where players were from. Just sending them to the state the City Championships were held makes it a lot easier.

Also, I could never figure out how PUI was going to know where the players were from. You can't edit your player information and if a TO loads the tournament info before going in and adding each new player in for a number, you don't get a chance to put what state the player is from. I know I have forgotten my last two tournaments so I have at least 16 players without State info in with there POP number
 
So the assurances we were made should be meaningless? So my 2 sons will not receive their VIP package because PUI changed their mind this week, after my sons owon thier events

So we wasted a trip to Chicago, taking away VIP packages from players over there, as well as having the St. Louis players take packages away from Collinsville? Just seems like a BAD call to change this late in the game....

It wasn't changed, it was never "officially" announced. If we go by what we are first told on the PTO list, you also can only play in the state your from and Team Magma/Aqua is legal for CC's.

We have been told before it is never "official" until it is up on the website. All the website said is that players would be receiving VIP packages at State. They don't expect you would drive 3 hours to play in one. The stuff we are told half the time early is never right. The info you refer to was way back in Late Dec/early Jan before they even knew what they were doing.

Maybe you should research your info before things get stated such as this. Having applied in the first week an not be choosen,If they were taking League sites first maybe we would have had more sites. If not for meganium45 we would not have one in Sedalia an had to drive at least 3hrs. to one. I do agree though city's an states should be done in the same state, why have Nationals if there is no one from each state. I also think the top 3 in each age group should not be allowed to play in another CC let the Comp. at state be the best it can be.

T-minus 15 hours until WAR. I'm expecting to be there at 1200 hours. My WMD have been tweaked about as much as they can, but I think they need a couple Crystal Shard, which I don't have, so I'll have to see about trading/buying singles.

I got 0wned SOOOOO BAD its not even funny lol. Still had fun, great tourney Vince. I was a little dissapointed with the turnout though... only 30? What's the deal? We had over 50 for the Dragon Prerelease.

Oh well, congrats to Scott (bigpoppa) for winnin the 15+ division with Kingdra/ex. Nice job man ^_^ I'll post a report sometime when i'm not so tired heh.
