St. Louis Area Summer Pokemon Festival is Coming!

In St. Louis we are offering a Pokemon Festival for all players at all our league locations this summer!

Details are :

To let you all know...the SCHEDULE is as follows:

Saturday August 2nd - Animagination Mills (tentative starting time 11:00 am)
Sunday August 3rd - Fantasy Belleville (Tentative starting time 12:30 pm)
Monday July 28th - B&B Eureka (Tentative starting time 6:30 pm)
Wednesday July 30th - B&B St. Peters (Tentative Starting time 6:30 pm)

<Fantasy O'Fallon will be rescheduled to AFTER soccer season...no players currently on Tuesday for a few weeks>

$5.00 entry gets you a pack of cards and Pizza!

There will be prizes for all participants...and we are going to have several areas set up which include...

Pokemon Trading Card Game Team Battles!!!

Pokemon Trading Card Game Unlimited Battles!!! (Use those base set cards, all the way up to the new stuff!!)

Pokemon Trading Card Game Modified Battled!!!

Pokemon Trading Figure Game Play Tables!!!

Pokemon Trading Figure Game DRAFT Tables!!!!

Every player will be asked to bring their own Pokemon Cards for play. Teams will either be by your choice, or we will pair you up with a friend.

The Trading Figure Game Play Tables are bring your own Figures!

The Trading Figure Game Draft Tables have "House Figures" that I am supplying!

These will be a great place to bring your friends and have a great time, play in a way we are not used to playing, and win a TON of free stuff and prizes!

Dates and details to follow!!!

EVERY location will have a door prize for a FREE Prerelease Entry for the new set coming out! Great way to try and get a FREE PRERELEASE ENTRY!!

When/where? If you set up a Prof Cup table, then you might see a Trophy in the area :cool:

Sounds nice...maybe the family and I will have to truck it to St. Louis and come by! I say "Truck it" like it's 5 hours away....its only about 100 miles. LoL!
 
I'm 100+ miles in the other direction, but I cant wait to see what the Meganium-Man has up his sleeve for these events..... Major props to Vince & the STL gang for providing something in the "slow period" between Worlds & the next seasons Tourneys.... I'm anxious to try out other formats/gameplay that I've never tried before....
 
I have one more shopkeep who has to get back with me, but we are going to be doing these the last week of July at the owner-approved locations.

Friday the 25th is still up in the air for the other Animagination shop. Will PM on that issue.

Have approved for packs and pizza at each locale.

Awaiting final approval from PUI on my other prizes.

Should be a BLAST!

Oh, and once you pay the $5.00 to get the pizza and packs, none of the events cost ANYTHING!

Some stores are running promo specials on certain items (Trading Figure and the Like) at the stores, so make sure to ask, and keep your eyes open!

For those bringing your OWN trading figures for the games, we will have stickers to put on the bottom of the bases, to mark the figures as YOURS!

Hey Vince what about Gathering Ground?

I may skip Tuesday because I need to go get Soul Calibur IV and play it lol but yeah sounds good
 
I did talk to Belleville, but their date will be moving from this Sunday to next Sunday (I may not be able to make it).

The two that are SET in STONE at this point are July 28th at B&B Eureka, and July 30th at B&B St. Peters.

July 29th in O'Fallon will be confirmed as of TOMORROW, when I get back with the store.

Animagination (Mills) will be moving to August 2nd.

All will be confirmed this week.

Lotsa schedules to confirm.

Sounds fun. I was just going to look up what's happening in STL. PM if ur in STL area, i'd like to make some pokemon tcg fans. I'm in OFallon btw.
 
well we still got the older ones, will u be posting a full schedule by this weekend or is there a different site i go to to see it?
