Since the last one sort of died off, here's the brand new one for St. Louis. And for all of you who need the address.......................

Note: Vince is the PTO, not me, I just spend more time on here then he does. :tongue:

3 Different Ways To Play!

League: Earn Points, POP 2 Boosters, and all of the rewards! No packs, and no cost.

Paid League: Earn Points, POP 2 Boosters, and all of the rewards plus a UF Booster! 1x UF Booster Pack and $3.00 to do so.

Paid Tourney: No earning points for this, but you are guranteed a pack of UF and maybe more! Cost is $3.00 and prizes are at least 1x UF Booster.

Also heard a couple of Rumors.....

None Currently...other than speculations. =P

1) St. Louis has 2 Cities, and maybe a 3rd.

2) State's may or may not be in St. Louis.

3) Regionals may or may not be in St. Louis.

4) Gym Challenge may or may not be in St. Louis.

Gathering Ground Report #1

9/17/05
Three days after my 15th birthday. I had been using Luidcargo for quite some time, and it compiled a 14-7 record. i wanted to try something new, so I decided to try my new deck (there is a thread about it in deck help and strategy "welcome to the jungle!").

round 1
vs Johnny Jr. (0-0)
Well, Johnny Jr., from what I could tell, was playing a Manectric EX/ ninjask deck. But I got out a Sunflora about turn 4 and had 4 grass energies in play. I picked off his basics 1 by 1, but when I needed my 6th prize to win, his Ninjask did swords dance then slash for 80 to sunflora. Then I realized Ariodos *cue anglelic choir*! For one Grass energy, I used spider trap to poison and lull him to sleep. His sleep flip got tails both times, then it was reactive poison to the rescue. Record: 1-0

round 2
vs Karen (1-0)
Karen is a mom to two other kids who play pokemon. This was her first "official" tournament, though. She had an Emerald Gardevoir/ zappy Ex deck. Again, it was Ariodos's time to shine. I got desert ruins out early, which was doing 10 per turn to her zappy EX, deoxys Ex, and Rocket's raikou ex. She ran into an energy shortage, but since ariodos needs only one energy, this was my chance. I spider trapped and Reactive poisoned her until I was out of prizes. Record: 2-0

vs Johnny Sr. (2-0)
This as you might tell is Johnny Jr.'s dad. This is where I got scared. I saw him earlier use Stellix Ex and forretress, which are resistance to grass. But, yet again, I got Ariodos out early. Spinarak, rare candy, ariodos, grass, Spider trap, your turn, reactive poison, good game, see ya next week. All he could get out was a pineco, and it went fast. Final Record: 3-0

i won't be going to league for the next 2 weeks, so it'll nbe a while before another report comes up. Meanwhile, reply to my welcome to the jungle thread in deck help and strategy. That's all for this week!

I wish they kept their vending machines stocked though, only because then I don't have to send my dad to the gas station for a soda. :tongue: Oh well, I'm sure they have their reason as to why.

You're 15???? *faints* I swore you were only 13 or 14, but 15? Dang. I'm too young, lol.

How old are you? Well, like i said, i won't be back for two weeks, so PM or IM me what happens. We needa start a "team". Maybe we should call it team PurplePickle or Team Purple Pikachu or somethin lol. Ill be postin more now, so be alert!

We have a team. Team St. Louis. Its just not an actual team. Chris tried to start Task Force, but I didn't get it, and that sort of died.

We just say St. Louis took this, St. Louis took that.
 
Yes, drift. Valley Park, Mo is down in southern missouri. I would map quest for the address. Hey, is your signature about the cyndaquil about the time at the UF prerelease when I paralyzed you with cydaquil for 17 straight turns? lol
 
Well, as you might have noticed, I'm starting a team, but its kinda hush-hush...

Let's see, I went 2-1, and that 1 is to none other than my cousin, Seth. The other 2 matches are nothing compared to this one:

round 2
vs Seth (1-0)
Seth, as you might know, uses a Ty-ex/Umbex deck. Quite destructive. He also slapped in Dark Tyranitar, which does wonders against anthing else. Anways, our round started with him getting an Eevee active and 3 (!) Larvitars on his bench. He attached a Dark, evolved, and BC'd my Spheal turn 1, so I began with 10 HP. Luckily I had a LNS in my hand, and got a Bench of Spheal, Slugma, and Lugia ex. I think the turning point of this match is when I played my Rayquaza ex, and did 80 to his Tyranitar ex. He then used Mix-up, leaving me with 20 HP. This is where I began to have issues. He had 2 Prizes, I had 3. Even if I had KO'd his Tyex, he could send up Umbreon, attached an Energy, and Good Game. So, thinking about this, I ended up sending out a Lugia ex to STALL, and then sending up a Walrein to stall, but to no avail. He won a time techincality, even though I would've KO'd him next turn.

(went 1-1 at that point)

Even Seth hates our games, because they're just so darn close. Still, it's fun to have such great competition agaisnt him.
 
i witnessed that battle, it was close, after that, i figured seth would go 3-0, but then he fought that crazy old dude, with the deck that...i dont even know how to describe it, it had a structure, but i couldnt tell you what it was for anything.....it combined, well, basicly everything....

i dunno, i never saw the mime, he might've playedit before i got to watch, i saw the crobat, but he had everything so mixed....
it was the same guy, who's kid traded you the feraligatr

Hey Jay, do you know what the deck was? It was probably Peter's dad. Did he have a fishing vest on?

Also, I'm guessing that the next League Session will be the last one at GG's present location. Then we move to Valley Park.
 
Oh, he runs anything, and I mean anything. He's played Slaking/Clefable ex, Dark Steelix, all kinds of decks. But doesn't like anything popular(Rock-Lock, DragTrode, etc.)

He wouldn't have been playing Eeveelutions by chance, would he? That'd be his sort of thing.

That was YOU!!! It happen in Niles, AND BALTIMORE!!! Cyndiquil stalled and beat me at EVERY pre-release i went too!!!
