St. Louis hosting Regionals at South County Mall!

Man, oh, man, only a little over 2 months to go for this one!

Some of my "surprise" staff items have come in, and I am sorry, but THEY ROCK.

The second wave of door prize items have come in, and I am sorry, but THEY ROCK.

The following side events have been confirmed:

Art Contest - all 3 age groups, can either be done on site, or prepared and brought in.

Trivia Contest - Different Questions for all 3 age groups, with our usual lightning round finals!

Who's that Pokemon! Over 20 Pokemon to Identify, and prizes for everyone who plays!

Pokeball Dodgeball! You know it, you love it!

That is the FIRST 4! More definitely to follow!!!

HJ Shirts have come in!

The head judges will be....all have accepted and can not back out now!!!

Overall - Clay Mitchell - Memphis, TN

Masters Division - Mike Kendle aka "Ditto" - Springfield, MO

Senior Division - Ray Simmons - Sedalia, MO

Junior Division - Bernie Deville - Kentucky

So, this will truly be a "Regional" Staff...and I have not even announced the judges yet who are coming from Kansas, Nashville, Belleville, Granite City, St. Louis, Rolla and other points in the Region!

We will have the best of the staff in the Region at this event...

It will be something special.

Oh, and you people have NO IDEA what you are in for!

I just got in another "dream package" that included over 20 more door prizes (bringing my total up to...500 separate prizes) and am making my deal for 50 new player packs, the same as last year, where every new player who needs one gets a starter deck and a tin to hold their cards in just for coming and playing...yeah, FOR FREE!!

You want more...you are going to get it. Trying to finalize the deal for ALL the staff shirts to be as cool as the HJ shirts...I still have time, I still have time...

The side events are ALREADY being put together...Art Contest, Trivia Contest, Who's that Pokemon? Contest, Pokeball Dodgeball, and a few new ones to come on down!!! Surprises abound!

And, invitations will be going out to allow a total staff of 15-16 of the BEST staff in the whole wide area to come in and work with us...

Indiana, yeah, you know it...Tennessee, Kentucky, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois (That DOES make it a Regional right?)..picking the BEST from each area to step up and judge with us!

You can go ANYWHERE to play in a tournament...you have to come to ST. LOUIS to EXPERIENCE a REGIONAL the way onlwy WE can put it on!!!

Oh, and who has 2 time PUI (4 time overall) WORLD CHAMPION NESS coming to give autographs, pictures and a talk? Who? OH YEAH! WE DO!!

Can't wait for this. Already booked a room even though I really can't afford it! That's how epic Vince's events are. I had so much fun staffing last year (even though my feet hurt for three days after). Hopefully I'm that "judge from Kansas" on his list for this year :biggrin:

Those of you thinking about going somewhere else are making a big mistake! Vince knows how to throw a par-tay!

Agreed, and I hope that I'm the Illinois Judge again.

Also, no complaining about sore feet, Chairman. Wait until Nationals. Them's some sore footsies... :biggrin:
 
400 door prizes being picked up today.

400 door/attendance/side event prizes.

Brings my "prize pool" right now, over 1 month away to over 550 items!!!

That doesn't count my 48 special staff bonus items, so over 600 items in hand!

Every year I strive to outdo the previous year, and it is getting HARDER and HARDER, but this year will be the BEST YET!

I can feel it!!!!

Getting Ready for States...and the Regionals keep appearing in my head!

Fliers for Regionals have arrived, and will be BLOWN UP for display in the mall!

Zane thinks the fliers are "Too Cool!!!"

we are very sure that we are going to come your way, I wanted to know if any of you could give me an idea of good hotels in the area.
