oh well, I got top16 like I thought I would, but i knew I wouldn't get passed that against and auto-loss deck. It was a great tournament, I had a BLAST!!!
 
It isn't speedrill, it's just Beedrill. We made the deck we get to name it. Congratulations Master Colin, as always. Getting 2-round loses for showing up late is kinda like uhhhhhh pwned.

I played it twice that day beating it safely by benching him midgame, and lost when I prized both my furrets vs it another time. Still ended up taking it into sudden death where he donks a dre + banette in a 6 card hand having used them multiple times.
 
Ughhhh...I seriously don't know what happened once I got to t16...I think my deck got really tired lol

This was seriously the most fun, stressful, exhausting, and exciting tournament I've EVER been to. Team Richard FTW until top cut and except for Jeremy lol
 
I saw a lot of groping and stiffening going on in the top cut games.

Taylor Keeps the title of MS Valley Regional Champion!!!!

You know David, maybe it DOES beat GG. Ever consider that? Just cause you beat it by benching it, doesnt mean it folds to all GG decks. Look across the nation. It cut in EVERY event it was played in. Seems like the top 2 had some unexpected FORMITABLE competition.

It was nice to see some new things winning games across the board. From what I am reading people have tried MANY, MANY differnt things and some were actually successful. PROPS to all of you.

I will agree that GG is a good deck, but it is no longer the ONLY deck. Time to find another bandwagon.

Jimmy: I didnt know about your list until saturday, but we had been tinkering w/ gyarados also. Pairing it w/ Banny was a nice combo and it does beat GG on a consistent basis, contrary to Mr. Coates thinking. Especially since I was HJ @ SE Reg's in Carolina and saw firsthand Erik N. run the deck and he did the beat down on any GG in his path, esp the finals.

Thanks for the phone call and invite, truly a great event to be part of. Those seniore from Missouri and Tenn. are awesome to watch. Your event had everything. I got Pokeballs thrown at me, walked around in circles being spun left and right just to try and win a cake. I got to see future artist at work, and oh yeah judge a tournament in a space large enough to house about 500 people.
You truly delivered on everything promised. Any time any place, just call....Although next time. 30 degrees warmer, skip the rain, and provide the limo as promised....
