Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Start of nfl season

Another thing, I would like to Welcome the Detroit Lions back to the NFL, and say so long to the Cleveland Browns, who, I believe, just lost to my High School Football Team.

Appalachian State.

I thought the 49ers would be better this year. Not borderline 3-0 better. More like 8-8 better. What I wish the Bears would have a guy like Singletary as their Head Coach (or, more accurately, Singletary as their HC). It'd be nice to actually light a fire under some of these guys' butts.

Right now, the competition for COY is between Rex Ryan (son of Buddy Ryan, Chicago 85) or Mike Singletary (MLB Chicago 85). And there will be another Chicago 85 Head Coach next year when Ron Rivera finally ditches the doldrums of San Diego and actually goes out and gets himself a team. Why don't the Bears hire their own...?

I thought of them, but I figured, it would be an insult to Appalachian State to even have them face the Browns. :D

We will see if Denver defense can live up to its own hype within next 3 weeks, facing Dallas, NE, and San Diego.
Jets defense is also missing 2 starters from their defense. One is currently suspended until week 5.
Panthers have lost their identity on offense. They are running team first and foremost.
Pittsburgh will soon have Troy Polamalu back.
Jets offense will regress as the leagues accumulate more tapes on Sanchez. More tapes allows scouts to identify Sanchez's tendency. As long as Sanchez does not have a complete meltdown and maintain his composure and confidence with increasing adversity, the Jets will be fine.

Right. And the team who has only scored one offensive TD in their last nine games didn't score an TD's vs. the Ravens. Secondly this whole "the defense is a year older" argument has been repeated ad nauseam for years now. When will people realize that it isn't true? Terrell Suggs is 26, Haloti Ngata is 25. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are the key players who are old. Age isn't everything. Peyton Manning is 33 now. So does that mean his level of play will drop way down? Here's a question. Have you actually watched the Ravens games this year? And as for the Jets defense vs. the Ravens defense, who knows who has the better defense, my point was the Jets have played against 1 offense that is playing well.

The Jets played against 3 offenses doing well (well patriots are ok). For the record I have watched a ravens games this year. Your argument for QB's should be null and void. For a QB his speed goes down but his awareness goes up. Same for everyone else. The older members of the ravens defense will lose speed but gain awareness. I just want to see how the season plays out before I say that they have an amazing team with an amazing defense. I want them to impress me. They still have a long way to go. This Sunday will be a great chance for them to earn some of my respect. Even though the Patriots don't look that good, they still have an offense that can light it up.

What does it matter if the Patriots are good or bad? The reffs will win the game for them if they don't seem to be doing well enough on their own. There have already been several HORRIBLE calls and spots just in the first half of the game. They're so biased. :/

Patriots are so lame. Everything always goes their way. They should be 2-2, maybe even 1-3. Love the way my NINERS are playing, though. 3-1 with the one loss being a fluke bull loss on a lucky pass by Favre. Best defense in the NFL resides in San Francisco.

ok has ANYONE watched the broncos? dang they are freaking 4-0 they just beat dallas and have one of the best defenses i have seen them have for a while plus kyle orton doesnt suck like everyone thought he was going to i actually would think they might be able to do well.....not super bowl well but at least not 0-16 like the lions did or even not win more than 3 games whaich is waht i heard more often
GO BRONCOS

(sighs)

Well, the Dolphins finally won a game at last, and on their home turf as well. Let's hope they can finish the rest of the season on a better note.

Bears smash the Hello Kitties. This is why we brought in Jay Cutler. 3 scores on "only" 141 yards. Matt Forte is Matt Forte again, with 121 yards on only 12 carries and a score. Buncha guys injured, but we go into a bye week right now.

The defense needs to get out of the gate much faster. I like how they're making good halftime adjustments, but you can't let the Detroit Hello Kitties score 21 points in the first half. I'm squeamish about when we have to play a real NFL offense like Atlanta, Cincy, or Philly. Still, not too many of those on our schedule. NFC West with the anti-air 9ers, the terrible-beyond-terrible Rams (seriously, 3 defensive TDs?), and the struggling and aging Cards. Then the NFC North, with the Slackers, the Queens, and the Hello Kitties, none of which have truly potent (though certainly solid) offenses.

Bears, 11-5, NFC North champs.

Does anyone else find it stupid beyond belief that the ref gave a 10(15??) yrd penilty to the ravens because the coach yelled that it was a "Tarous poop (you all know what I mean) call? The refs were so biased in that game, it really makes me sick. Seriously, coaches yell FAR worse than that, yet nothing comes out of it. But you say it in the pats game, and they give the pemility. It's so nice to see a team that has not only the options of offense and defense, but also the option of using the refs to make biased calls. [/end sarcasm]

Everyone knows and accepts that if you want to beat the Patriots in Foxboro, you have to be able to compensate for the 5 extra Patriot players on the field every play. I watched it with Atlanta last week, and Baltimore this week. It's as simple as that.

I feel sorry for anyone playing against someone with 49ers defense in fantasy football..
Minnesota will run all over Chicago Bears with Peterson, the unstoppable force.

I'm glad my opponent didn't have the 49er's D. I'm mad that my opponent had the Saints D.

The "unstoppable force" went 25 for 55 last night against an average run defense. Imagine what a good Bears run D will do against him...

Ahhh, yes. The fossil that the front seven will plant on his butt every third snap...

As an avid Packers fan, I have some issues with this statement. Our offensive line is the worst in the league, Simple as that. However, our defensive line is definetly above average when it comes to stopping the run(As in most 3-4 scheme's).

Viking's O-line is really good. I wouldn't be too confident in the Bear's ability to get pressure on Favre, Especially considering that anything less then a sack against him counts for nothing. He doesn't get flustered in the pocket, and the only time he makes mistakes are when he tries to force the ball places it can't possibly be.

Better have some varying Blitz scheme's and some confusing looks, because if not, the vikings will find a way to win.

Also, how's your left tackle? Better then our's I hope.
