Starter for my Emboar-deck?

Hi ho guys, I need some help...

I was going to use Spiritomb AR as starter in my Emboar deck, but now it gets rotated out because of up-coming hgss-on format. What starter should I use in my Emboar deck? I can only think about Smeargle, but it's not really consistent and has also retreat cost and there's not Unown Q anymore. What do you think would be best for my deck?

Emboar's ability laughs at retreat costs. I'd say either Smeargle or Promo Shuckle.

Smeargle is probably your best bet.

Yeah, Emboar's ability makes retreat costs basically nothing, especially if you run Retrievals (which you should).

For energy dropping decks I've found Girafsrig to be fairly efficient. It thins out your deck, and when you get the Emboar up the energy drop will be killer.
