State or Sr. Prom??

Well since I am going to be going to the same prom and have the same problem dear friend (yeah, we're going in the same group) I would have to say **** WITH IT!

DO THEM BOTH! WE WILL GO IN OUR TUXES JUST JTO SHOW UP THE REST OF THEM, AND IF THE GIRLS HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT THEY CAN DEAL! WE WILL LEAVE IN TIME TO MAKE IT BACK SO IT'S ALL GOOD ONE WAY OR THE OTHER!
 
Girls like proms to show off their dresses and shizzle.
Guys go to prom for the after party.

If you go to prom and no after party then, you got problems, or you can be like me my freshmen year when I went straight to the after party....:p
 
origins is different than a states.
you might not be able to go to origins next year, but you will states. so its a lot different.

Even so, I would still choose anything over prom. I would even sleep through the whole day than see the same idiots I saw everyday three years ago

i'm an idiot at my school.
im looking forward to sr. prom, even if i dont have a date, i still get to dink around with my friends and stuff.
i would much rather do that than go to a states.
only get one prom.
states last until pui finds that its not cost effective.

im just sayin, friend, theres experiances that will happen there that youd never forget, ive heard many a stories about prom, and it sounds exceptionaly fun.
and theres the whole kid thing.
"pappa, how was your prom"
"well ma boy, i didnt go to prom, i went and played pokemons instead"

taint nothing wrong with enjoying the greatest card game that is pokemon, but come on, you gotta have a life as well.
 
True that, but to go to an event means you want to enjoy it. Also, in the group (ugh, groups) of the few people I liked, most of them didn't go. So I figured, why bother wasting my time if they're not going to be there
 
yea, if all my friends were doing something else that night, i prolly wouldnt go either, cause then i would just kinda be there, not really doing anything.
if i had a date, sure.
if not, then no, i would rather go to states with friends.
but something like that is prolly the only situation where i would miss prom.
is if no one else was going.
 
This thread shouldn't even exist. If you're seriously contemplating missing your Senior Prom for a Pokemon Tournament you need to quit playing Pokemon.

If you would ACTUALLY even CONSIDER choosing POKEMON over senior prom, you need to get a life! and I mean an actual life with girls, and frienmds, and tacos. I don't think my school "program" (I am home schooled, well kinda.) as it's called by them has a prom. So what does that mean for me? I get a free pass to any Pokemon tournament ATM? My life is good!

As for the pickle your in, I have to ask you a question. Do you really, really, really like her? If not, and she's just a throphy girl, go to S/P/Ts. There may not be other proms, but hey look at me I'm home schooled, I ain't even got a prom to chose to go to.

Anyways it's what you want. Your not going to be happy the rest of your life if you go to some dance that you didn't even want to go to in the first place. Now are you?

a Trophy girl is still better than some silly lil game. WOW, I would totally say something right now but seing as I already got an infraction on this very subject, I won't.

if its so silly, why are you playing it??


IMO, id go to the state championship.
especially if they're not playing any music that you or your girlfriend will dance to.
its your call, but if you know that the prom isnt going to please you..then why miss states for it??
unless your madly in love with your GF and you'd marry her when you get the chance...i dont think she'd be that dissapointed to miss the prom.

TBH, I am not really playing, I really haven't cared about this dumb game for a couple months now. How do u know states will please you?
 
Dude, even a bad time at the prom is more of a memory / experience than a pokemon tournament.

Like a lot of people have already said, you only get one high school senior prom! There are plenty of tournaments.

Go to the prom. =]
