The key to the deck is to get magmortar doing Massive damage ASAP.
with the Heatran, i will not be losing energy from Flame buster, and they are going to take an extra 30 from burn garunteed due to heatrans body. and to top it off, typhlosion will be giving support by attaching an extra fire energy per turn, as well as give some advantage to water (although kingdra only needs one energy). stark mountian works great with typhlosion, and heatran gives good attack support if needed.

i think i need to make room for warp point, but i dont know what to take out.

How are you going to get the Heatran back on your bench after you lvl x it? It as a 4 retreat cost...you probably need warp points/ switches.

You're playing too much energy. You're not going to need 18 when Typhlosion and Heatran are recycling it for you. And you need some warp point/switch. Heres what I would do:

-1 Magmar
-1 Night Maintenance
- 2 Fire Energy

+ 3 Warp Point
+1 Chatot

Also not sure if I like Call Energy at all in this deck. Magmortar needs 4 Fire, Magmar needs a Fire to start. Just something to consider. Roseanne's Research might be better for getting basics out.

I have always liked MagRan ever since i saw Heatran Lv.X spoilers, but i never thought about using Typhlosion and Stark Mountain. Not only that, Heatran's power can move energy to it's self so that it 2 a turn considering it is a decent attacker if you need it.

I don't know how many Warp Point you want to play, but here is a start.

-1 Magmar MT
-1 Cynthia's Feelings
+2 Warp Point
