Strongest Legendary Pokemon?

Yes, Jirachi it's self is very weak. But Jirachi's true power lies in that he can grant wishes. For example, Max could have done this during the Jirachi vs. Absol battle, instead of Butler trapping Absol like a moron. "I wish you were stronger!" Exactly. Jirachi can have infinite power if it is wished so.
 
#1 IMO Latios, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, and Mew.
Why wouldnt Arcanine be counted as a legendary??? Even read the card. It says that it is a legendary pokemon. If Dragonite can be a legendary why cant Arcanine. Arcanine deserves to be a legendary even more than Dragonite.

No mystereeman, it really doesn't. I personally think the whole "Arcanine is Legendary" thing is a bunch of hogwash. It could have just as easily been Mr.Mime or Jynx. I think Nintendo put the names of all the RBY fully evolved Pokemon in a hat, drew Arcanine from it, and said it was legendary. Once again, two words. Pokedex Number. Yeah, I love making comments based on Pokedex number...
 
Mewtwo. Mew is the so-called ancestor of all Pokémon, which would make it exceedingly powerful. Mewtwo, being its enhanced clone, would therefore be a tremendous lot more powerful than any other legendary. Remember, in MSB, he was creating disasters of biblical proportions just by waving his hand.

Mewtwo might not be "legendary" per se, but he is indeed an uber due to his 680 base stats in the GB games.
 
Seriously I think they are all equally Legendary...they are all barely seen and most of them have LEGENDS written about them
 
PokeWisconsin, Legends did not tell of Mewtwo at the time of his creation, no. But think about it, as of the current time in Pokemon, that was a while ago, and legends may now tell of him, but they just havent said so. Or, my theory on why legends do not tell of Mewtwo, he wanted to live in peace without disturbance, so whenever someone wrote a legend about him, he destroyed it and erased it from the person's mind. Keep in mind that almost no one knows about him anyways because he erased the people's minds, so who would write the legend in the first place?
 
Mew is by-far the strongest. She took a derect hit from Mewtwo's psyshock attack and wasn't even fased. She can also learn any move because she's the first pokemon ever to exist, making her the oldest also.

There is now a legend about Mewtwo and here it is:

"There is a mysterious pokemon that roames the earth, but only at night and always by moonlight" It's from the movie "Mewtwo Returns"

Uh, no. Mew can only learn any TM, not any attack, but only because it contains the DNA of every Pokémon to exist. Not even Smeargle can learn every attack in the game, although it can learn the widest variety (it can't Sketch an explosive attack).
 
A cording to the pokedex on the vidoe game it can know any move, and the move list is just moves it learns by leveling up, I thought everyone knew that but I guess I was wrong.
 
Move lists encompass every move that the Pokémon can learn naturally (level-up, breeding, etc), or unnaturally (TMs, HMs, Move Tutor, etc). Mew, thus, can't actually use every attack there is. It can be taught any move that humans have learned how to teach Pokémon (i.e. it can learn any TM), but it can't use any move on its own.
 
I would have to say Lugia is most powerfull. I say this because Lugia defeats 3 legendary birds and saves the earth. I think he could even beat Rayquaza.
 
Yes, but don't forget, Rayquazza is a Titan, not a guardian of an element (though it does seem like a Protector of the Skies, it did stop the Titans Kyogre and Groudon from destroying the earth they created). Lugia is guardian of the Waters.
 
Ho-Oh is God. Dragonite is not legendary, neithere is Flygon, Salemence, Arcanine, and a BUNCH of other pokemon that anime/'dex/card says they are. Mewtwo is legendary, last dex pokemon all suck (Mew,Celebi,Jirachi) Lugia>Rayquaza Latios+Latias dissapoint their father.
 
How dare you say Jirachi sucks! Here's a matchup of Jirachi and your so called god. It only takes one sentence to finish.

"Jirachi, I wish Ho-oh didn't exist!"

Those who insult Mew will feel my wrath when the time comes for my to revile my ture self! Also Lugia didn't defeat the three legendary birds, it was the spheres that calmed them down after KOing Lugia for the second time.
 
Yeah, Lugia is really a loser if you think about it. He's a freeloader who decided to help Ash in order to not get caught by that Lawrence guy. I mean heck, he got KOed at least twice, when it took the spheres like 1 try to calm the birds. Glowing magical spheres beat Lugia any day.

Actually, technically you're wrong there. Look at its subtype, it's the "Legendary Pokémon." This is irrefutible.
