Suicune Error

Hello everyone. I am very interested in error cards. My question is what is the Suicune error that people are talking about? I am assuming it comes from the Secret Wonders set. Thanks for your help.

People assumed it let you get 3 water energies instead of 3 water pokemon (like the spoilers said).

I recognise the 枚 from this thread to mean physical cards, which is what it is getting.

I've seen ポケモン before to mean pokémon and the 水 funnily enough I know from playing yu-gi-oh to mean water. Check it on the symbol in the top-right of this card. See?

So it is water pokémon.

Oh ok! So it isn't an actual printing error, but a translation error. They seem to be doing that a lot now. Thanks for all your help.

no, this was a spoiler error. not a translation error on the actual card.
Oddly enough, spoiler errors seem to be rarer than those on the actual cards.

Actually it doesn't suprise me. The spoiler translators are native Japanese speakers who play the game in Japan. They are familiar with the "meta-rules" of the card language due to that.

I strongly suspect that the latest translations have been done by folks without both advantages.
