-flipper
-motion sensor bomb
-invisibility cloak

some of the items that were in melee can disappear for all I care in Brawl, invisibility cloak is one of them since its just a waste of an item no matter how you look at it. Flipper is stupid to, Red Shell I just dont know about either. Motion Sensor Bomb I thought would still have a place in Brawl, I found it strategic but alot of luck involved with it to.

I vote we have seperate threads devoted to looking at Brawl through a "competetive" perspective and a Smash player's perspective. Seeing posts about items following talking about tournaments is saddening.

But I always hated that thing. It was usless against someone like Pikachu or Mario, who would just get rid of it. The rest of the time there was always a good chance for you to be smashed into it...

We don't have time to ponder such questions, as your opponent has just grabbed a smash ball.

Btw, as far as motion sensor bombs, I think their replacement is supposed to be the Gooey Bomb, or perhaps the Smart Bomb. I wish we still had the MSB's though.

Why, back in the day, I could do soooo much in the original SSB with those. Classic Yoshi's Story+Items+Cloud Camp=instant win.

i cant believe its gone... that was a stupid move on their part, but the game is still going to be great!
it would have been cool to have a big fight with motion sensor, bomb-omb, gooey bomb, smart bomb, and some how make it so only electrode comes out of the pokeball.
that would be chaos!
