Switch Cards

Are there any cards that allow you to switch your Active Pokemon with a Benched Pokemon and do nothing else?

Thanks!

Edit: I just discovered the Pokemon trainer: "Switch". Rather embarrassing. :)

To get multiple Active switches (outside of Switch and retreating), there is also Warp Point, and some Poke-Powers cause switches (such as Gardevoir Lv. X's Teleportation or Marshtomp's Plunge). Super Scoop Up and Poke Turn also work to switch your Active.

^In the ideal situation for your opponent, they will have their main attacker out. Warp Point can be great disruption.

^Or you want to be able to KO that main attacker rather than the lousy Uxie or Azelf sitting on their bench. This is why I use only Switch almost exclusively in my decks as opposed to Warp Point.

I like Warp Point, but it's no fun wanting to switch your active but NOT the defending Pokemon and having that Warp Point in your hand.

Switch is better than Warp point in most decks in this format IMO, because there are so many sacrificial pokemon nowadays (Crobat G, Uxie, Azelf, etc.) that a Warp point can actually be really harmful to you as you most likely want to hit your opponent's active.

I really, really, really, really, really, really wish they brought back "Gust of Wind"

Classic card, and it was incredible. Metagame now has gone soft, where we have to rely on 2 pokeblower+ now...
Makes decks more interesting knowing you can't just hide a claydol in your bench the whole game.

Personally, unless the deck specifically wants my opponent's Active to be switched, I use Switch. If I'm trying to 2HKO something, and I need to switch, but I find that 2HKO is on the bench now, I getz sad.

remember also warp point makes them switch first if i remeber correctly then you do making so you see what they bring out then you can decide also doesn't warp energy switch pokemon?

However, Warp Point works well if you're trying to stall or if you have a sniping attack waiting in the wings.

Warp Point also works well if you want to use Dusnoir's Dark Palm to send a fully charged main attacker back to the deck.

So it seems that most decks could benefit from having some sort of switching mechanism, which one you choose would depend on your deck's strategy.
