4 dunsparce (confuse then tripping turn)

4 reversals
2-3windstorms(for the holon circle or crystal beach)
2-3 energy removals

supporters
4 marys
2 holon farmer
2 walleys training
3 great ball
2 Copycat 0r 2 oaks ...(till they are leagle run cosmos)
4 Bills
4 cursed stones

4 DRE
8 water energy
4 holons wp
2 heal energy

with this deck you wanna aim for those ex's
because if you kill 3 its game over
for non ex decks it a lot slower but the same principal, just aim for their big hitter at it's lowest form.
and keep an energy less pokemon in the active, if you need to stall, dunsparce tripping turn.

use any free space for cards of your choice...warp points, would be nice...ect good luck

If the Holon's Circle is in play from your opponent...SCOTT...(a different stadium)...then attack for 60 and discard your stadium.
I just don't see it being very effective. I play tested a Flariados and got trounced!! We at BASE CAMP will continue to work on this...we may need help from the next set!!?? BLACK BROCK, we're going to keep fighting!
How is your other deck working out?

haha they working out good, i took apart one of them, and jsut kept my Reverse FireFighter (Charizard d) deck. because i got a Blaziken EX from the MC set...which im inlove with but is really hard to play with but i think i figured a rather nice way to play him with Gengar...that deck will be posted ether tonight or tommorow around noon.

A.Threatz - the reason i didnt put in DRE is the low chance of pulling it out when needed, also it downs my 120 damage to 110...i want my full 120. even if i have Shard in the deck...DRE i max 4 Shard i max 4 they have the same Percentage chance of being drawn if not Prized as mentioned before. the Holon pokemon arent for starters unless i have nothing else to start with, they are energy 1st, pokemon 2nd. they are used to get around Holon Circle, because with Holon Circle...Holon Castform and Magnation, and Electrode, aswell as DRE and all otehr special energys will only provide colorless...with the holon Magnamites and voltorbs...they already provite colorless...so im unaffected. thats why they are in there. Giantstump would work nicely and BF also =)

Muk Man - thats actually wut i came up with this deck for lol because peopel love them EX's...not that i dont...alot of ex's are jsut sexy...lol i like the simple idea, ith the Dunsprance, i'd rather try soemthnig like Scramble, or something other than DRE. because i like to keep my attacks at Max Damage. but i like the build idea you came up with

I don't know what the offical ruling is on Primeape/Holon Circle, but I would think it wouldn't be able to attack. You must attack first to get the effect, and Holon Circle would stop the attack before any effects take place. My take on it.

Either way, your opponent could just wait until they draw a windstorm or another stadium before they attack and knock your ock out. I think running Dunsparce, Ock, and Houndoom would work well... no stadium/switch/windstorm...etc...
 
So, have you play tested any of the combinations that were suggested??
Which one worked the best? I'm trying to stay away from the Ex's in this deck.
 
if you're not gonna run Umbreon ex, then deffinatly run Reversal so you dont waste a 120 damage Pulse Blast on a Plusle or Jirachi. I'd also take out 4 Magnemite/ Voltorb for 4 DRE which has been mentioned already or 4 more water energy and I'd try some Power Tree also.

not yet, this deck was an idea i came up with because i was told alot of people didnt like Octillery because its a every 2 turn attack card. i do have the build and lisit with fixes. and i will be putting this deck together wednesday, because i cant get 2 more charizards to make my Reverse Fire Fighter deck legal for tournament. so ima be braking that down possably to trade for cards to make this deck.


Let Fire Fall - yes i was gonig to do that, its easyer to get things rolling with reversal, that way i can Reversal, put out another pokemon, also the opponet, retreat mine and PulseBlast when i put Oct, back up.

Densen Kenobi - Holon Circle wont stop it...it takes 2Fire 1 Colorless...how does Holon Circle Stop Flames of Rage? Wreck takes 2 Energy...how does it stop Wreck?

If you play Holon Circle First to WRECK,.. it Fail, im sure...
And Octillery is a great Pokemon but Holon Circle dont protect him and Holon Circle block any attack include Effects, including Primeape Attacks, including Stand By, and makes too Slow an octillery deck,
Primeape and holon Circle dont be mixed.
 
WYnaut try it with Meganium Ex.. remove the damage counter and get the extra nrg attachment... just toss in Holon Lass and then you can attach the G and a W in 1 turn or you can Mentor for a Castform or PETM for Magneton/Trode and attach it! PLus you can still toss in the DRE for that added bonus of POwering a MEg on the bench and still gettin to attach! Stone's/ Power Tree (if no dre) could be helpful here as well getting a Discard G energy back from the first turn!
 
doesnt sound to bad, also about the holon circle, even if it do discard it when i attack...primeape has free retreat...so it really doesnt matter unless my oppoent get a god hand. thats really the only thnig ican see being a problem with the deck, otehrwise i think it'll be my fastest.

Hey by the way, why not run a few windstorm or Tauros in here? They can smash your own stadium (Holon Circle) and then give Oct his attack oppurtunity. Your strategy was actually fine with the circle and Oct just ran it wrong. Now simply run like 2 Tauros and Windstorm or such. I ran a deck similar, more or less Charizard and Flygon with Circle smasher strat. Holon Circle, drop Tauros or Windstorm kill your own circle and attack. Pretty good deck idea however. Oh and btw Oreo...if you have to be a jerk about it, let's see you beat this deck. Can you really survive a t2 110? I HIGHLY doubt that. I think if you really have to make fun of the deck, I agree with Idling Crisis you OBVIOUSLY cannot come up with your own deck ideas, much less any good ideas whatsoever. If you only criticize decks go elsewhere.

Oreo, jsut so you know i havent played in a tournament yet, and im hoping this plays better then the deck i play on bring to the tournament...jsut so you know...theres no basic with over 120 or 110 HP...T2 your active is gone...turn 3 u have a chance to do something ((not to mention you ahvent seen the energy root? that gives Octilley 100HP, or even protective orb.)) then T4 you KO'd again...ALSO ! i've dropepd Primeape for Houndoom UF (lonesome) so you cant retreat...u cant play Staduims or Trainers...what are you going to do? to add more lock down to the deck i plan on putting in Battle Frontier... now..you cant retreat, cant play trainers...and u cant use ur pokepowers from metal, colorless or dark pokemon...what left if there for u to do????..and every 2nd turn im dealnig 110 or 120damage... wut u gonna do?
 
Hmm, good idea about houndoom, however whats the exact number for the line? Would you mind reposting? I'd like to see the updated list if you don't mind. And no problem about that back up. I hate when people shoot down people's creativity. Really bugs me. :thumb:

i was gonan drop teh energy root for Battle fronter, to add to the locking of the deck. i have anotehr friend help me test this out. truthfully i really wanna take this to my 1st Tourny.

Oreo - i've tested this deck 4 times...each time i've started with Celios R.Candy and 1 of each basic along with DRE and Multi... lol once Octillery hits T2...your done for. with Houndoom on the bench u cant play statduims...BUT...I CAN!!! Battle Fronter...now u cant use powers like i mentioned before....you cant retreat...u cant play trainers, only supporters (( that means no Holon transceriver )) lol it makes it close to impossable for you to work fast enough to build up, o did i mention you wont be able to use R.Candy? BUT !!!... i can...*evil smile*


((played again b4 i went to bed...GOD HAND !, 2 Ramariads 2 Octilleys 2 R.Candys 1 DRE...))

And yes..as AbsolTrainer said, lets see your deck list...

having houndoom is a great idea cause you do not really need a large bench

Castform is a baaaad idea

if you are using it for energy then put in ton or more trades but you have no δ pokemon in the deck thing about how bad a starting solo castform would be why risk it

looks good protective orb will help against metinite....well it will make it a much much more even match
 
and if i put in Battle Frontier...i think it would basiclly stop a metanite deck, being they'er metal and run of there poke powers, i have no weakness to them, they cant play another staduim because of Houndoom, and cant retreat because of the Doc, they cant pull energy from the discard, they cant use Trainers to get the energy back. i really do think this deck would be a good fight againt a metanite deck, because of its advantages
