Take Out vs LEgends

Hi, I have simple question - what will happen if my opponent use Machamps Take Out on my Active Legend Pokemon ? Will my Legend KOed or gets 40 dmg ?

A Legend has no lower stage Pokemon card underneath it.
Therefore, a Legend Pokemon is an Unevolved Pokemon.
It is KO'd.
