Not completely sure if this will fall better under this forum or judging one. If my opponent and I are playing similar (very close hues of blue) or exactly the same sleeves (the Play! Pokemon ones from last season seem to be at high risk for this), it could become a bit of a problem for these cards. Prior to playing them on my opponent's field, would I be allowed to do either of the following:

a. Place my card, still in its sleeve, temporarily into a larger sleeve to differentiate it from the cards on my opponent's field. Immediately remove that sleeve when it returns to my discard pile.
b. Change it into a different color sleeve altogether for the time it spends on my opponent's field, and change back when it comes back to my discard.

For both of the above, assume I'm doing it in a reasonable amount of time.

This would belong in the Judge forum, but I'll answer it here because every judge should give you this answer:
Yes, that is a reasonable accommodation to ensure that the cards not get "lost" at the end of a game.
