~~EX Team Rocket Returns Pre-release @ DRAKE'S PLACE~~


That's right, there is a new gaming store in town!!! It is "Drake's Place". Located at 1911 S. Sunnylane, Unit-1, Del City, Oklahoma 73115. It has not opened as of today, but Roger Stillwell, owner of "The Game" in Midwest City says that it will be ready for the "EX Team Rocket Returns" Pre-release Tournament. Congradulations to Roger in opening his second store in the Oklahoma City area. It will have play space for 100-players!!! :clap: :clap:

We welcome back "Team Rocket" to the playing arena for Pokemon. "EX Team Rocket Returns" will be the first series of Pokemon cards to be release at the same time for USA players and Japanese players. I know that you will want to get your hands on these cards ASAP. We will again be having drawing for door prizes all day. :cool:

For anyone familiar with the area, Drake's Place is in the new mini-mall across the street from Del City High School.

For those driving on I-40. exit off on Sunnylane Rd. & go South about 1 mile. It's on the West side.

For those on I-240, exit off on Sunnylane & go North about 3 3/4 miles.

More info on the surrounding places to eat soon!

Below is the "Schedule Of Events" for the "EX Team Rocket Returns" Pre-release. We must keep to this schedule as closely as possible in order to have time for all of these events. Please be on time for the events that you wish to play in. :thumb:

Date: November 6, 2004

Time: 10:00am (Doors Open)

Registration Begins: 10:15am

GBA Tournament: 10:30am

"EX Team Rocket Returns" Pre-release: 11:00am ($15.00)
(In the Pre-release, you will receive six Booster packs of "EX Team Rocket Returns" to make a 40-card deck including energy. Basic energy will be provided by MP Birch. You will have 30-minutes to make your deck. We will play 30-minute Age-Modified Swiss Rounds. The number will be determined by the attendance. We will cut to the top 25% of each Age Group to play for the "Trophies". After the "Cut", MP Birch will hand out the prizes to all players by Age Group who did not make the "Cut". Each player will receive four Booster Packs of the "EX Team Rocket Returns" plus two "POP Series-1" Promo packs. As players are eliminated from the "Cut", they may come and receive their prizes.)

"EX Team Rocket Returns" Theme Deck Challenge: 11:15am ($15.00)
(In the "Theme Deck Challenge", each player will receive a "Theme Deck" and two Booster packs of the "EX Team Rocket Returns". This tournament is not sanctioned!!! The "Theme Deck Challenge" is for younger players and less experienced players who are not comfortable building a deck with new/never before seen cards. We will play "Swiss Rounds". There will be help by "Tournament Volunteers" as you need it. At the end of the swiss rounds, each player will receive four Booster packs of the "EX Team Rocket Returns" plus two of the "POP Series-1" Promo packs. There will be no "Cut" in this tournament.)

Lunch: After the third round of Age-Modified Swiss

"Booster Draft Tournament": ASAP, after the Finals of the Pre-release ($15.00)

Master Professor Birch will be holding drawing for "Door Prizes" all day. We will have a full day of Pokemon playing and fun. :eek:

Just read the email from "PUI"!!! As previously stated by PUI that trhere would be no more "Pre-release Promo Cards". Well, now they have decided to go ahead and continue to have them!!! Oh, yeah!!! :clap: :clap:

So, along with all of the other stuff that players will be receiving at the Pre-releases. let's add the "Pre-release Promo Card" as well. :eek:

Just to let everyone know - Starting this next Saturday, October 23rd, we'll be in DRAKE'S PLACE for league as well as our weekly tournaments.

I'm looking forward to be in a new place without multi-colored carpet!!!

Master Professor Birch has gotten his shipment in for the "EX Team Rocket Returns" Pre-release Tournaments. I somehow, by mistake of course, open a few of the Booster packs. I thought that the art and effects from the last two sets that have been released were awesome for the "Reverse Holos". Right when you think that it can get no better, BOOM~WOW!!! THESE ARE THE BEST!!! Someone tell MP Birch why the "Reverse Holos" look SO MUCH BETTER than the regular holos??? These not only knocked my socks off. They blew my shirt and pants off as well!!! I am still trying to get my eyes back into my head. :eek:

Players, you will LOVE these "Reverse Holos" for this set of Pokemon. They are without a doubt~~THE BEST YET!!! I cannot wait for the next series to come out to see what is in store for us. :confused:

The official "EX Team Rocket Returns" T-shirts are in. Master Professor Birch will be selling these at the Pre-releases. They will cost $12.00 each. I have the following sizes: small, medium, large, extra large, and 2x large. If you want to make sure that you will get the size that you want, you need to preorder before Saturday, October 30th. I will set back the t-shirts that are preordered for you. ;)

These are the BEST LOOKING Pre-release t-shirts made by far. They are black with multiple pictures on the back. :D

GBA Rules

~~~Attention...Attention...The GBA Rules~~~

The "GBA Tournament" rules are below:

*Entry Fee: FREE

*One Big / Single Elimination Tournament

*Legal GBA Cartridges are Ruby, Sapphire, Fire-Red, & Leaf-Green

*3-Pokemon of Level 50 or lower

*No two of the same Pokemon

*Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia, and Celebi are banned

*No duplicate held items

*Certain Powers (Rest, Recover, ect.) are not allowed after 8 minutes into the match

*"Modified" GBA Cartridges are not NOT allowed

*Judges rulings are final

*Prizes will be determined by attendance & highest finishing player in each Age-Group will win at least one Booster Pack

I talked to grams and she is on planning on comming up there to Del City so we can have out TEX vs OKL rematch hehehe....We are gonna drive up ( MPB grams and I really appreciate the offer you gave us...but she would like to make a few stops along the way at some of our fav places like that fried pie place near exit 50 on I-35 hahaha...

Can Clay now be a multi-state GBA winner......Who Knows but im gonna give it my all my record for this GBA Tourney season so far is 4-0......Also i plan on being in OKL vs Tex finals again and dejournett you promised you'd be there too...

Hope to see EVERYONE there and Ill talk to y'alls l'8ter
 
Hey, all you guys from Oklahoma and Dallas! Come on down for The Woodlands first ever Prerelease. So what if Oklahoma is having one on Saturday?? Ours is on Sunday. Professor Birch is making the drive, so can you! Are you all forgetting that I've been to Plano/Ft. Worth/Dallas and Oklahoma a few times with my family? Come on!!! Besides, I've worked out a special deal with DPS. They will NOT issue any speeding tickets for those of you coming to The Woodlands Prerelease. If you get pulled over, just mention your favorite Pokemon. Now, if you're speeding AND not wearing a seatbelt, you'll have to name them all!

Great to hear you will make it Blazi-King. My son is waiting to test your skills again. I hope we all make the cut. I like our new league home, I'm sure you will also. Maybe thats all i needed. The multi-color carpet must have been upsetting my concentration ability.
