Team Rocket Returns to Rockford, IL 11/6 (Prize Structure Update)

Due to a prerelease shortage, only 25 people will be able to get the promo (Niles has the same problem). People 26th and later will get an additional POP booster instead.
 
Well, last I heard was 17-19 local players. I'm not planning a side event at the moment (If there's interest, I may consider).

"What if I would prefer an additional POP booster over the promo?"

That can be arranged.
 
Could you do a sanctioned modified side event? That's what I would most want to do, I'm guess pokewisconsin and rulemaster would be the same way. I don't know what the locals would be up for.
 
I'm still waiting for a call from the Millers to see if I am coming... now the prizes are looking like it is worth it. However, if I come, I am playing in 11-14 for this one. ;)
 
Personally, I don't mind if it's a free tournament with no prizes as long as it's sanctioned. As long as I have an opportunity to raise my rankings that's good enough for me. I don't have much money to spare anyway, just enjoy the competition.

Yoshi, can you tell us for certain what you decide before Saturday? A free modified tournament would also be fine with me. If you can get some product for prizes that's fine too. I know that we would get plenty of players for a side event as long as they know about it ahead of time.

I'd like to play in a modified tournament after the main event- regardless if it's $5 or free. Count me in if you run a modified tournament.
 
Get there early guys. From what I hear we have 20+ local players ready to snatch those promos. I'll have to check on Saturday about a modified event.
