tentacruel as a tech?

ok i was wondering would tentacruel be a good tech in a king deck??
i was thinking maybe and maybe not i can do 40dmg to one of his pokemon n then next turn do even more...i just dnt know can someone help me??

I don't think it would be worth it. Adding energy to the opponent's pokemon when tentecruel isn't your main attacker isn't good. Play 4 kingdra and a suicue or 2 to get them out of the discard and you should be good. Doesn't need much of a tech.
