Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Texas State Championship ~ March 19, 2011

****Texas State Pokemon Championship****

I have tried to move the "Texas State Championship" around Texas for all of our players. I tried to set this event up in Austin, Texas. Austin has a "Music Festival from March 10-20, 2011. No resorts or hotels can handle us. I tried to set it up in San Antonio, Texas. But, San Antonio priced itself out of the running. Thank you, Jose for all of your help and support in trying to make this happen.

Here is my third choice. Bingo-done!!!

The "Texas State Pokemon Championship" will be held in Dallas, Texas at the "HYATT REGENCY DALLAS at REUNION". :thumb::thumb: The date is March 19, 2011.

If you came last year to this hotel for this event, you know that this is the BOMB!!! Four star hotel with all of the trimmings that you can image!!! 1,120 guestrooms, and after seeing a few of these rooms they will be well worth the price that the "Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion" is offering for our "State Championship". Just mention the "Texas Pokemon Room Block" and receive a room rate of $115.00. Call the hotel for this room rate. All Reservations must be made individually through the Hotel's Reservation Department by calling 1-800-233-1234, referencing the "Hyatt Regency Dallas", the dates of stay, and the "TEXAS POKEMON ROOM BLOCK". The "cut-off date" is March 4, 2011 for this room rate. Below is the link to the "Hyatt Regency Dallas at Reunion".

Let the title reclamation BEGIN!

Sorry the other two venues didn't work out for you Richard; however, the Hyatt Regency was a great venue last year, and I'm confident it'll be just as good this year as it was then.

As always

great big props to MP Birch:thumb: (the hardest working PTO in the US) for trying to get this centrally located, sorry that San Antonio was inhospitable sir:nonono:, but Texas is just too large to always hold this in Dallas, working like a mad man to try and get there, but no se

Wait, top cut of 16? Seems kind of small, isn't it?

It's mandated by TPCi, Birch has no control over that. Each tournament has a set max top cut.

BRs - top 4
Cities - top 8
States - top 16
Regionals - top 32

Too bad, I'd love to see a top 32 for Masters, if attendance warrant it of course.

See y'all in Dallas.
