Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

The Fishing Engine GE Style

VM's have been tossed around nad the idea is a good one, but the issue is getting the 4 needed for the deck. Whereas Demetre tends to do well at Cities, not 1 BR win yet.. and with me Judging and when i do play a certain Kettlero Bro. tends to make things rather difficult, this has eluded the Fish clan!

My Last Name is Fish and some other players mentioned that the list of Trainers create a fishing style as there is no guarantee as to what will come up with the Quick/ Master/ Dusk Balls or the PokeDex/Navs so you are fishing for the right card. And frankly I think FISH is a Great NAME!!

Must be looking in a Mirror! Now that is funny right thar... I don't care who you are!

Wait, I was laughing at how he said the name was stupid, not you Fish!

Actually as i've been running Dusk balls myself i find taht i dislike them with Claydol, as i seam to put junk on the bottom of my deck pushing the good cards further away with the claydol so i can't get them with the Duskball, but thats my 2 cents

I second this opinion, the more I use Claydol the less I want whatever I dumped onto the bottom of my deck. Cosmic Power, followed by Steven's Advice, a Pokedex, and a Masterball let's you cycle through around 15 cards in your deck, sometimes as many as 21, to find a specific pokemon you will need. Combining that with Rare Candy and Great Ball and getting multiple Stage 2 Pokemon, even of different types, isn't that hard at all. I also find that Bebe's are definitely worth maxing out in a Claydol based deck to help assure a fast Claydol, which in turn usually sets up another shortly afterward.

I just wish there was a better non supporter alternative for Bebe's, as Poke Ball is just too chancy for me to want to waste deck space on.

After playing this now for some time, I must add that this is such a consistent Engine and for Stage 1 decks, the set up is very quick! Stage 2 Decks are a little touchy but still have a better speed than the normal trainer engine. I appreciate all the input from people using this everywhere.

As things progress and Majestic Dawn comes out, we will see just what cards will change!!
