This is the thread where everyone can jubilate over meeting PokeGym people at Nats.
You've seen their screenames and, NOW, you're finally able to put a face to a name!
WHAT POKEGYM MEMBERS HAVE YOU SPOKEN TO AT NATS?
(yes, people you already know count :smile
I met ALOT of PokeGym members for the first time today and I think it's just incredibly cool.
Unfortunately, some of the names are tough to remember, but I'm going to keep updating this thread and celebrate the acquaintence of new PokeFriends :smile:
There are, also, some familiar faces that I was so happy to meet again...
Here's who I've spoken to thusfar (and... who I can remember the screenname for..)

People I missed / wanted to meet and did not:
HOW DID I MISS PokePop ?? (what the HECK?!)
I THINK I saw Prime (were you the young guy handing out league play prizes?)
EeaveeLover - saw him, but didn't have a chance to just say "hi" (he was judging my pod)
GengarPwns - He WON seniors and he's on our SecretDeckTesting Network. Everytime I was in the seniors area, I was tending to my daughter. Sorry I didn't have a chance to seek you out
Renfield - WoW@ missing another SecretDeckTesting Network member Congrats on YOUR top cut success as well!

I met ALOT of PokeGym members for the first time today and I think it's just incredibly cool.

Here's who I've spoken to thusfar (and... who I can remember the screenname for..)
- Darkstar20 = and a whole crew of Lafonte peoples. I just remember Darkstar's shirt from the crew that I messed with at the pizza joint. I walked up to them as a total stranger an pretended to be a local who knew nothing about Pokemon. Every one of them told me what they were running.. LOL!! Then I was like, "I'm just messin' with you guys, I'm playing in Nats tommorrow too .. "
- TimeForPain = SERIOUS grinder right here. Dude has been playing since he woke up Fri... like.. NONSTOP until his body forced him down to sleep (uh.. did he sleep?) = GL man... too bad he had to switch decks when he say how bad his matchups were on Friday
- Kevstoy = very cool guy with 2 ADORABLE little girls. One of them came "just for the shirt." Her plan was to play one and drop; she top cut (LOL!)
- KingofMagikarps = T32 ! way to go!

- LawMan = Do you EVER get to play in events anymore? <== Always on staff.. lol

- Ghettverlord = WHY didn't we get time to Playtest on Fri ... nnnnnnnnNNNOOOO!!! OMG@ missed opportunity...
- ShadowCard = see Ghettverlord
- Darkelf 1313= Always good for a LOL. I like running into her. It's like "hey!" and then she opens her mouth and 4 sec later you're ROLLING ..ahahahahahaa
- Vanderbuilt_Grad = This guy is SO cool and laid back. Then he'll just destroy you on the playing field ... LOL!
- SlowDeck = OMG@ finally getting to meet this guy in person. He's my draw engine IDOL! (ahaahahaa)
- DarkWalker = FINALLY getting to sit down and decktest with billbiliski @ 10:30 p.m. night before NATS! I SO WANTED to join them (OMG!)
- Ehlerz5 = OMG@ how cool this dude is. Just beyond capacity on Cool Points in my book
- Brawler = I like this kid. He's just got spirit and a good attitude. Meet him and you'll understand why we do these events. He's a kid. He's super-psyched to be here and to GET AN OPPORTUNITY to play the game. (It's NOT all about winning folks....) His mom is pretty laid back cool. Good people.
- Garch = This is his year to Top Cut Nats and he seems focused.
- Feraligator = ALWAYS mad busy and in charge of some majorly-resposiblity-gizzling aspect of every major event. But, I still got a word in and thanked him for his contribution to the game.
- billbiliski - He FINALLY started playtesting with DarkWalker @ 10:30 p.m. Fri. night before NATS! I SO WANTED to join them (OMG! That woulda been pheonominally cool.)
- yoyofsho16 <= This senior is on point. I hope he top cuts.
- ChucklesLvX <= He gets cool points for tossing me two basic energy cards to a random 'stranger' who wandered by like "Hi, can you spare a card?"
- crobat = Good Luck!
- LucarioEx = One of the ONLY people who's rogue decks are crazier than mine :tongue:. Hers are always more practical than mine... however... :/
- DarthPika = building NATS deck at 11 p.m. the night before ... no playtesting it... just... "DUDE THIS DECK IDEA ROCKS!" (LOL!) - GL w/ that man
- Secretsof2113 = about time!
- Fletcher = One of my matches. He was so conflicted because he hated to lose, but he like me as a person so he couldn't hate the Rogue
- Bullados = the deckbuilding genius himself (at least that's how I think of him). Too bad we didn't get much time to talk :/
- Jimmy Ballard = I had just shaken his hand like "Hi Jimmy, I'm Rogue Archetype, and he's like 'Cool, Jimmy Ballard, see ya later' (ahahaaa) Then, they put up pairings, we take our seats and there he is in front of me shuffling!! (how funny is that?) Good games make new friends
- Nathan (Vegeta ss4) = Was SO funny to play him in top cut after denying him access to SecretDeckTesting network. I'm like "yeah, you've got something to prove, so I'm expecting to be SLAUGTERED right about now..." What an experience!
- shen = Could dude. He shot me a PM and a text because he's read my posts on the gym and was like "i've got to meet you in person man," so we made it happen. Wish I had more time to talk with him.
- prodigal_fanboy - Thank GOD he was willing to playtest with me while we sat at our assigned tables waiting for the first round to post. He had LuxNape and I needed to get crushed and start figuring my way around that dreaded matchup. It also helped me get my head right for the day. Thanks!
- DukeFireBird - As busy as he was, I still got to slip in a greeting "You're EeaveeLover right? No? oh ... you're DukeFireBird" ... OMG @ that rediculousness. Sorry about that.
- TuxedoBlack - The ONLY guy brave enough to show up with Ampytrik .. .and CUT!
- PsychoDad - Super cool Pokedad right here. We'll have to play and laugh a little next time
