go va tech!

west virginia looks like a force to be reckoned with.

I wont even care this year, LSU won the NC last season and I cant expect them to repeat it again in the competition they play in. Ill just watch the SEC destroy everyone come bowl time.

We won't be winning the national championship, but I definately love whats going on here in alabama..

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!

Illinois will not be in the top 25 by the end of this season. Their entire offense went to Pittsburgh.

MY Tar Heels are a VERY talanted team, I am looking forward to see them UPSET some Top 25 teams this year. Coach Butch Davis is in his Second year, and they are Loaded at the Skill Positions( QB, RB, WR), and they return a VERY Strong Defensive front 7. They lost a FEW very good defensive players, Kantwain Balmer and Darelle Mapp, but they are still prepared.

I LOVE College Football, I have been watching it since I was about 7, so I am STOKED to see what this year holds. Last year was the MOST exciting season, SO many Upsets and Rank Changes. it was by FAR the most unpredictable year. I hope this year doesnt disappoint.

I DONT see Georgia #1, where did you get the Rankings from, Vegeta??? I am not saying your wrong or anything, just have seen Florida atop A LOT of Preseason Rankings. I think that Urban Meyer will have his Squad, up and ready to be a contender, they have a VERY fast team, hence Florida being called the "SPEED State"

But, anyone can agree, that College Football is ALWAYS awesome to watch and DEFANITLY play!!!

rankings are from the polls.

with the SEC the way it is, Georgia will not keep #1.

it all depends on end of season though.

My 4 favorites won this weekend.

Texas - Son attends

Texas Tech - Daughter attends

Houston - Local college.

South Carolina - Just a big fan.

Yeah but they make excuses not to go for it.

They need playoffs so bad because USC and tOSU both run the tables in their conference and are considered god like over a conference like the SEC that not only went 7-1 in bowls last year, but have won the last 2 NC games, they beat up each other so much they cant possibly maintain a #1 ranking.

how does USC jump Georgia? really? every year USC is #1 and they end up losing to mediocre teams.

Easy answer here. Georgia & Ohio State played cupcake teams at home while USC traveled 3000 miles and played a 9-4 (last year bowl) team AND they smacked them around BAD.

I don't like USC but, hey they are good.

They are good, no doubting that.

Its just the idea they play in the PAC10 which has only 1 good team and thats them and then the polls put them at #1 for beating really nobody the entire year and they do tOSU the same way but they are worse then USC, and last year USC faced Illinois in the Rose Bowl in California, so they didnt travel 3000 miles.

Sure they face OOC opponents but usually weak ones, big name schools with weak football teams, they face tOSU this weekend I think, while they probably going to beat tOSU like any good team can do, its going to be interesting to see how much difference the score is at the end and maybe can measure the talent USC really has.

yes, USC deserved to move to #1, but don't worry, if both teams continue winning, Georgia willt ake over considering their TOUGH schedule, USC does play OSU though....

If USC beats Ohio State next week, USC should go undefeated and then they'll have to run up the score on every team to stay at #1. Any close games AND Georgia stays undefeated, Georgia will move up. I don't think USC will stay at the top all season long.

On the other side of the United States, I'm just happy that South Carolina is playing on ESPN Thursday night. it's not very often I get to watch them from Texas.
