Because the Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL? They have 5 consecutive losing seasons, can't keep a coach for more than a year or two, have an owner that's lost his mind, etc.

New Orleans doesn't have the defense to make it to the Super Bowl. Great you can score 26.7 ppg. Doesn't do much good when you allow 27.7.

That didnt stop Indy from going.

The numbers atm are misleading though when it comes to points allowed because the offense of the Saints in week 1 and week 3 gave up plays that resulted in defensive touchdowns for the other team. Defensively the Saints have given up about 24 PPG maybe 25. So far they had to endure facing a top 5 defense the first 2 weeks, then turn around and face a top 5 offense the next, once their starters return (boy they got an injury bug this season) then you can expect massive improvements.

The year Indy went, they had Bob Sanders throughout the entire post season. He's quite possibly the biggest difference maker on any NFL defensive squad. Take him away, and they're average (as they will be now). Their defense that year wasn't spectacular, but it was good enough.

But typically if you allow more points then you score, you'll have a losing record

its not that i hate them thay just sucks

Please explain to me how they suck? Have you even watched them this year? Last year the coach was an idiot, we had a TON of hurt key players, and our quarterback kept changing. This year they have a new MUCH better coach, and a qb that is looking to be very good.

I'll make sure to come back and sig you when the Ravens keep winning.

I think the Verdict is still out on Oakland.

so far any game against Denver this season can be taken like a grain of salt with the back pocket refs.

They beat Kansas, nearly beat Buffalo, I say Oakland is pretty average this season and nothing more.

Really its too early too judge a lot of teams this year. The Ravens aren't considered 'good' by a lot of people even though they're 2-0 because they two teams they beat are a combined 0-6. However the Steelers are considered 'good' even though the two teams they've beaten are a combined 0-5. Also the Ravens and Steelers both beat the Browns. The Ravens won 28-10, the Steelers 10-6. So if you go by records and who's played who you would probably say the Ravens are the better team. However its only 2 games (3 for the Steelers) so all the 'experts' look at last year and see that the Ravens where 5-11 and the Steelers made the playoffs. In the end all that matters is a team's record though and not what the so called experts think.

Steelers aint good either, not like I thought they would be after the Texans game, but we realizing how bad Houston really is to, Pitt struggled with Cleveland and lose to Philly.

I see now where the whole Ben Worthlessburger name comes from.

Typical patriots talk. Without Brady, your team is crap. Without the ability to cheat, your team is also crap.

The only people who don't hate the patriots are patriots fans themselves. I mean jeez laweez, if you're gonna talk crap, at least make sure your team doesn't fall for the same silly trick over and over again. If you can't beat a struggling, recovering team, I hardly doubt you're going anywhere this season. And I said a few years. Where in my sentence did I say we were going to go anywhere this season. I was stating about it being in the future.
I'm soo confused. Brady was a great QB but nothing like manning (in terms of numbers) until last year. How'd we get our 3 superbowl wins then? Are old defence? 17-1 without cheating..... yeah you caught them buddy. Sorry your dolphins have been terrible the last few years (haha, last few).

Sounds like the yankees. And the celtics/lakers. And the pats are simply going to wash away in the coming years? They never draft well, right?

Super Bowl wins?

well let me go find Adam Viniateri
Oh yes, he was the only one who won the super bowls for us. I forgot how football was a single mans sport. :/ He performed in the clutch, but most of the FGs he hit were relatively easy.

The guy's a superb kicker. Still is. Doesn't change the fact that the refs were biased and blind in the snow against the Raiders, in a game which Oakland should have won. Half the games Vinateri came in pretty much saved his team from getting beat. That season, they really weren't that good, as much blessed that their kicker could make Field Goals from their own 45... XD

Crap happens. We're still recovering. That recovery stage doesn't last forever. As I said, at least we're not the Cleveland Clowns. And Dave Wannestadt? Who in the heck is that guy? Worst coach in the history of coaches. He had a pretty solid team built up before he left, then he just mucked up with terrible playcalling.

I know. 28-10 is such a close game. I mean its only an 18 point difference.

Against Cleveland, you should have had more.. After all. It IS Cleveland.. XD

I'm just angry at my Bears right now. Two weeks. Two double digit point leads with less than 10 minutes remaining. Two losses.

One attempted murder.

Don't believe me? Look up Jeremy Trueblood vs. Adewale Ogunleye about the game this past weekend. Tell me that jamming a guy's head into the ground repeatedly isn't attempted murder...
