Anyone else seen the high-res pics of the Revolution? Its barely over a DVD tall and only 3 CD cases think...which is around an inch. o_o It looks sweet. I can't wait to see what the Revolution Controller looks like.

Slightly off topic the Xbox 360 and PS3 also look 1337.

Give me pic now...**has regressed**

-EDIT (Thanks to IGN)

Wow, that looks awesome. I have to pick this up. Where are the darn controller ports!? I guess all the systems are going wireless now. Well...I guess that's cool. I heard the PS3 can have 7 players playing at the same time. Come on Revolution having 10.

I pray that Nintendo will keep to what they are saying and showing here at E3. I PRAY!!!! If so, I'm definetly going to be getting this bad-boy!!!

(That and the PS3. IMO - between the two, Microsoft can kiss my shiny metal butt!!)

Thats about how I feel. Nintendo has the innovative products and franchises I like, while Sony has everything else I like, besides, it looks like the PS3 is the power house this time around, being 35x more powerful than the PS2.

The Revolution ranks in a 2-3x more powerful than the Gamecube.
While Xbox 360 ranks in at 15-17x (I think, I forgot what they said exactly) more powerful than Xbox.

And yeah, the controllers are all wireless...which means you best invest in some nice rechargeable batteries and charger because every console has them. =/

Off topic again, but check out the PS3 tech videos if you havent. http://media.ps3.ign.com/articles/615/615000/vids_1.html
The second one is the best. It'll make your jaw drop.

Now we just have to wait for Nintedo to show us the controllers and game footage. <_>
So far all we know is:
Its gonna be smaller than the prototype they displayed.
Wi-Fi out of the box.
Wireless controllers.
They take backwards compatability to a WHOLE new level, not only allowing the system to accept GC games, but also giving you the ability to download practically every NES/SNES/N64 game ever released.
It'll appeal to not only casual gamers and core gamers, but will draw in new gamers as well.
It is easier and cheaper to devolp quality games for.
Its Revolutionary obviously.
And probably something else I forgot to list. >>;

That looks sweet! :biggrin: Hey did anyone catch the Xbox 360 Special on MTV the other day? Looks nice to. But so does PS3 :biggrin: gonna have to save up for em' all :biggrin:

that looks AWESOME!!!!! Can't wait for more stuff on that. SUPER MARIO RPG RETURNS!!!!!!!!!

For the people asking about controller ports, yeah, the Revolution will have wireless controllers, but there's also a flap (on top (when verticle) I think) with ports for GCN controllers and (apperently, though I could be wrong) memory cards.

If they allow you to download all the NES/SNES games for free, I'll buy the system JUST for that. Heck, I'll pay a few more dollars when I buy it just to get the access to download it. I am hesitant on buying it, but once i heard that, I have to get it now.

That alone will sell BILLIONS more systems.

Most definately :thumb:

Dang I need a bigger desk now... Already only have room for my computer, my two monitors, and my notebook, so don't have room for my PS2 or Gamecube.. Where am I supposed to fit a Revolution, a PS3, and maybe an XBOX360 (if I find somethig interesting for it)??

Let's hear it for technology!! :clap: :clap:

I think you probably have PLENTY of room for the Revolution. XD At a mere 3 CD cases thick standing upright, that shouldn't be hard. :O PS3 and Xbox 360 however require a bit more room. <<;

actually I have been planing on bulding me a new desk... but it'll have to wait until I get a new job now

Haven't seen PS3, but XBOX 360 is cool from that libary issue of the latest TIME magazine...
Frozen, baked plus many stints that keeps it intact.

Revolution is Shiny, docking bay looks sweet, but a bit scratchy...
Can it not be scratched?

PS3 looks like it belongs on the shuttlebay of the Enterprise D or something (or like one friend of mine said, in the torpedo tube to shoot the dead body of Spock down to the Genesis planet)
