Since I got this new modem yesterday, I haven't been able to log on to PTCGO without that message showing up. I'm fairly certain it's something to do with the modem since last time I checked the forums, a thread was started where someone had a similar problem. Their solution was to readjust the firewall settings. I did and made sure that my firewall allowed access to PTCGO (I have Norton), but it's still not working. To make matters worse, I can't even login to the forums thus I can't respond to (or even view) that thread.

Has anyone else here experienced something similar?
 
apparently now the usernames are case specific..... this should help you login as it fixed my login problem
 
.... Why would they make it case sensitive?

At least that problem is fixed though. Now I just need to figure out the firewall (if that's what the problem is)

It might have been some minor maintaining going on.
I went to the library to play this game, and it gave me the same message.

Waited a bit (about 30 minutes) and tried again & it worked.
 
I haven't been able to log on for several days now. It's definitely my modem.

I take that first part back. I was able to log on by using Linksys, but it was even laggier than PTCGO normally is! It disconnected me in the middle of a match. It's a temp solution for when I want to log on and make offers, but for serious play, no.
