Quick question about CIP powers and attacks that evolve having the text "This counts as evolving that pokemon".
Do I get to activate these powers if the attack has this text?

Ex. I use Spiritomb(AR) Darkness Grace to evolve a Snorunt into a Froslass(AR). Would I be able to use her Snow Gift Poke Power?

I'm thinking it won't because of the whole 'coming from your hand' thing.

There are no CIP powers. That was a WotC construct that turned out to create a false, never were true, set of rules, so let's not use that term. There are Poke-POWER you can activate immediately after, or on the turn when, you play the card, but the card is in play when the Power can be activated.

And, if you read the two cards, Darkness Grace brings the card from your deck and Snow Gift requires you to play it from your hand - so you are right that Snow Gift is not activated. If you have other cases on the evolution question, you should post the specific situation.
