This deck is somthing that my friend put together because his son and daughter wanted to play his Blazekin/Rayquaza and Godevoir decks he did not have alot of money and dups so he put this together and has won a bunch of games with it:

Hit & Run

12 Pokemon:
4 gastly
4 haunter
4 Gengar (hide in shadows) Remember him?

32 Trainers:
4 switch (save the fossils)
4 copy cat
4 Oaks Research
4 Mr Briney Compassion (save the fossils, heal Genagr)
4 Mysterious Fossil
4 Claw Fossil
4 Root Fossil
4 crystal shard (against dragons)

16 Energy (You could even play as low as 12 because this deck is suppose to be slow)
14 Psycic Energy
2 Cyclone Energy

Startegy is pretty simple hit for 40 switch with a fossil and do it again, If they are resistant or a dragon the crystal shards work nicly against them. There is no real way to beat the deck, except with Blazekin nand then it is a close game. This deck just tears other psychic decks up.

Well what do you think?

It looks like a decent deck. I played something similar, but I think you need a few more pokemon. Maybe a few dunsparce just to help you get set up and I like to play Shedinja in this deck, it's kinda nice.

Which Gastly and Haunter are you using? I recommend the Skyridge Haunter, since it can give you a little bit of draw power.

You might want to add in the magby Baby pokemon that still has the baby power from one of WOTC earlier sets, Expedition or Aquapolis.. This combined with high pressure stadium lets it retreat for free...Your opponent would have to flip a coin just to attack which could lead to some early turn agravation on failed flips....Lots of players count on the first couple turns to get additonal pokemon or extra energies attached... Image your opponent finding one of the "older" babies.... a few failed flips could work in your favor....

You coud also consider Cacnea with its pokemon power if damaged, the attacking pokemon is poisoned....

Pokeplayer...

I recomend Shed-ninja as well. that way you may be able to attack a couple of times. Or Ditto, doing grady's attack back at it is always good

Hmmm. I guess we'll have to call this fossilporter. You'll have to watch out for bench damage though-not that there's much of that, but it could be a big problem.

Gengar was my favorite in Neo block modified. With no focus banded babies (or better yet, focus banded LC Haunters), I came up with a different protector - Jumpluff.

So the other night I built a Gengar/Jumpluff/Wobbuffet deck.

The idea is to get Jumpluff out with a Rainbow energy (activating his Fluff power with 1 damage already on him) and using him (or Wobbuffet, if the opponent has an EX out) to hide behind.

I'm thinking that Shedinja is another good way to go.

My big concern is lack of horsepower. And resistance to Psychic. (Crystal Shard will help that, but with only 4 shards, it can only help so much).

You might want to consider adding a Warp Point or two, just in case you come up against someting you don't want to face.

yeah, this dies to blaze, this dies to Aggron ex... horribly dies to it lol. It also loses to Salamence. I think Gardy might be able to beat this, but it'd be close i think. Getting all 8 fossils down doesn't seem horribly consistant cuz ur going to mulligan a crap load unless u CHOOSE to start out with Fossils (not smart imo). Looks like a whole lot of fun though, lol. Could make A LOT of people angry, hehehee!

-1 Copycat
-1 Crystal Shard
-2 Psychic Energy

+2 Warp Point
+ 2 Fast Ball

I would advise mulliganing until you get a Gastly, do not rely on fossil opening hands.

Fast Balls will work great, because they allow you to get Gengar up earlier. This deck may be frustrating, but it will fall eventually to a consistent attacker who can take out the fossils, who Gengar cannot take in one hit.

There are too many Pokemon out there who can deal 40 in a turn to take out the fossils, and everyone can do 10 a turn to take out the MF.

Anything that can do bench damage, or splatter damage, will give this deck trouble. Gardevoir had better have some tech in it, or it will fall quickly to this deck! I think this deck would fall to any of the Lati variants which are resistant to psychic, shard or no shard.

It will be interesting to see this deck go, it may be a powerhouse, it may be a poor man's garde. In any event, it will make us all think.

SUPER KUDOS to a great deck idea!!

TTT: Looks wonderful to me -- I kind of stumbled into a similar deck in the last few days. I would take out the CopyCats and use Desert Shaman (for a little disruption of your opponent). Then -- replace one Gengar with Aerodactyl Ex since you have the Mysterious Fossils-- it's colorless -- for three energy does 60 damage, which takes care of the Dragon Pokemon. Maybe replace the Cyclone Energy with Boost energy for a real nasty suprise. Just don't use it against Grass or Lightning decks unless you have a sure KO.

First off, let me get this straight: Gardevoir will easily die to this thing, no doubt. I've tested and tested, and Gengar ALWAYS comes on top. However, it, well....sucks to other things. I've liked the Gengar/Shedinja/Fossil strategy, so you should float about 3-4 of those babies in here. Other than that, it's fine!
