Hallo,
how are you today?

I had the idea of making a Report of a Prerelease Tournament.
I chose the GS one which took place yesterday in Vienna.
So guess how the story starts....

Everyone of the (i think it were about 15) 15 people gets 6 GS Boosters to make a deck with them.
There were 30 minutes time to do tha....

That´s not really interesting?
Ok then let´s start with the list I got/played.

Here is it:

POKEMON 21
3 magikarp
2 Gyarados Shiny
1 Chikorita
1 Bayleef
1 Meganium Prime
2 Cyndaquil
1 Quilava
1 Typhlosion
2 Vulpix
1 Ninetales
2 Jynx
2 Heracross
1 Dunsparce
1 Pichu

ENERGY 12
6 Fire Energy:fire:
3 Grass Energy:grass:
2 Water Energy:water:
1 Rainbow Energy:colorless:

T/S/S 7
1 Professor Elm´s Trainigs Method
1 Pokemon Collector
1 Copycat
1 Bill
1 Switch
1 Pokemon Reversal
1 Full Heal

Strategie::eek:
Wow, I didn´t think that i could get a deck which really has a normal strategie.
The Strategie was most of the time to draw cards and getting better cards with Jynx/Copycat/Ninetales/Heracross
until my oppenent took 2 prizes(sometimes they only took 1), then I just had to play everything onto my bench (I already had the basics with some Energies on the bench most of the time) and OHKO each of my oppenents Pokemons.
Pichu was just there to stop my oppenents attacks with a little bit luck and getting more time to set up.

We had to play a BEST OF 2....

1. Round Vs. Max ??? who played a mix with all possible types of Pokemons

He played his deck better than his real deck for Premierrated Tournaments,
but still really bad, because he had a Jynx on his bench and never the idea of attacking with Mimic (I had a 7-8 card hand at this time, because i´ve already had "Mimiced").
The game was short.
In the second play he used his Jynx to get a better setup, but was faster and got out both of my Gyarados and Meganium with all the 3 Grass Energies by T4 and won the game easily.

1-0

2. Round Vs. Xaver ??? with Blissey and some Fighting Pokemon

Wow, someone with a Blissey based deck.
I just set up both of the Gyarados both games and won both easily.

2-0

3. Round Vs. Tom Zhan with Donphan/Blissey

Wow wow, that is impossible, because the chance of getting a Donphan/Blissey Deck is very small, but he did.
The two games went like those against Xaver in round 2.

3-0

4. Round Vs. Samuel Zetinig Donphan (not the Prime one) and Arcanine with Slowbro

In the first game I use the Strategie and the game went the same way as i described it in the Strategie before.
But i loss the second one, because after I took my 3rd price I had no Energy in my deck and Samuel KOed my Gyarados with one energy attached and I only had a Jynx with one energy and aTyploshion with one energy on my bench.
- bad luck:mad:....
However the second play was funny, because everyone thought that I was cheating,
because my play looked like this in the 4th turn:

Active: Gyarados + 1 Fire Energy
Bench: Typloshion ; Meganium + Rainbow Energy ; Gyarados + Grass Energy + Water Energy;
Ninetales ; Jynx

I won the game in the 5th or 6th turn.

4-0

Yay won it and....

I got 6 Boosters for the first Place:smile:

Props:
Meganium Prime
2 Gyarados Shiny (1 RH, 1 HR)
Winning the Prerelease Tournament
Getting 6 Price Boosters
Getting a Blissey Prime and 2 DCE in these 6 Boosters:biggrin:
Buying 4 more Boosters and getting a Donphan Prime:biggrin::biggrin:
The whole Tournament
FUN

Slops:
None, because everything was for FUN....

What do you think?
This is crazy:lol::lol::lol::lol:

no that was not really a price support, because we played in masters/seniors/[DEL]juniors[/DEL],
but in the end there was only one ranking of the tournament....
so we had 1st - 6 booster; 2nd - 4 booster; 3rd - 3 booster; 4th - 2 booster; 5th - about 11th - 1 booster
