Don't get out the Raid, yet...it's good that they're here, because that's how you'll get referred to the 'Gym when you type "PokéGym" or other keywords related to the TCG into Google...

I agree, that seems like a minor invasion of privacy! We put things in our profiles that we don't mind showing to members, but we might not want the rest of the world to know.

Yeah, but the truth is - they can't harvest any info (like they might have at WizPog), since our email addresses aren't publicly viewable (IMNSHO - subject to being corrected by a site admin, of course ).

'sides, our profiles are not limited to "members only", but are available to the world at large.

If you don't want something seen, don't put it in your profile.
This is the internet. That's how the internet works. All info is out there.

Google is a good thing for us.

If you search for your username on google, you will come up with the results for your PokeGym profile and more.

As was said, Google is a good thing for the site, and a good thing for all of us. You just need to ignore the google spiders. If they become too much of a nuisance, I could stop them... but as of right now we're allowing them to run their course to help the site grow.

Not a nuisance - more a curiosity that there were 3x as many spiders crawling as users viewing the board...

It freaked a couple of us Admins out the first time we saw them.
