Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

TOP16 DECKS (master) 10/16 so far!! lot of variety

@ Rogue archetype

I went 11-0 at Nats with a Gyarados, you didn't invent anything. ;-) The deck is from William Gilbert (Kiwill) and I. And I didn't know you played it. And I was happy too that nobody saw that I went 11-0 at Nats with Gyarados =)

My nats decklist published by Greenleaf was not very good, but it was because RR was not released, so every card was useful as a tech against some decks, and I knew it was enough to do a great result.

For Worlds, I needed something better, so we changed the decklist : Crobat G + Poke-Turn. I also knew that SSU was great in the deck, but didn't find the seats I needed for them. When I saw that Greenleaf was doing great at LCQ, then I just added them with some sacrifices !

I'm doing a report with the decklist and some explanations, so be patient.

BTW I don't play Floatzel.

And yeah I failed 3 winning SSU in a row against the World Champion ! The deck could take Worlds I think, but the luck wasn't there. Just wait for the report !

Maybe Fabien wasn't the 1st on earth in using Gyarados SF, but it's the only one person in the whole universe who won something big with it.

So i'll give him 100% credit on the Gyarados.

I love how Rogue Archetype claims to have created the deck while I've seen it running around during Cities already.

Gratz the all the top players, some interesting decks, that's for sure.

I wasn't aware of that. Heck, I WISH I had a heads-up on a discard Gdos list before overwhelming my brain cells for weeks/months working out the concept.

THe ONLY Gdos decks I was aware being run was straight Gdos, Bastoise Gdos, Dark Gyrarados and RegiGdos.

I ran a discard Gdos (Miracle Whip) at CCs, Regionals, Spring BRs (v.2 "shallow water"), and Nats.
I didn't see anyone else even discussing the concept.

After US Nats, I got several PMs from people asking me for my discard Gdos list so they could run it at WORLDS. This is what led me to believe that I was the first to seriously play out the concept.
It wasn't a cry for attention, it's just the way I thought it was. I, honestly, though they got their inspiration from my endeavors.

ANYWAY...

The version(s) that the French guys ran have entirely different approaches than mine. So, I couldn't begin to take credit for their Gdos lists. (I thought I already said this).

What I WOULD love to do play against the two guys for fun and share our different approaches to the same deck concept.

I've seen their lists and I truly appreciate their clever ideas.

We good Scipio ?

Great Job Fabien!!!

Thanks to deck like yours and Silvestro's, this World Chamionship was full of spicy decks!!!!!!!!

I also received several PMs about my old Gyarados version, and French Nats were before US Nats, I think.

Happy that you aw and appreciate the decklist. And if you didn't see anybody talking about Gyarados whereas I was gonna play it, that's what we call a SD !

BTW nevermind what Greenleaf says, I had my new version for Worlds before he played it, just ask kiwill, the guy from my team with who we "created" the Gyarados !

It's whatever man.

You did your thing and did it up in a big way.

You got your props. I gave you your props and respect. No need to get sideways about anything.

Noone's tryin' to steal your thunder. It's your day and you're the dog.

Do your thing. Respect.

Peace.

Jayson used Palkia Luxray -_- Not Luxray Cresselia. 1000000% positive.

Sami used Flygon Machamp, as did Jay H.
