I'm trying to get a new player into Pokemon, and they are going to start playing Pokemon by being thrown into a random Battle Roads. So far, Torterra seems to be solid enough for them to start off with, but not uber complicated and strategic and intimidating.
So, here's a deck that I quickly threw together for them. Any critique would be great.
Edited.
My main concern is whether or not I should use the DP set Torterra line rather than the MD Torterra line. I know the trainers are iffy and upon testing the deck out it seems to work fine, but I just wanted to get a second opinion from other seasoned players. I am also debating on whether or not I should take out the Buck's and accommodate Switch in there. The reason I have a lot of basic energies is that Sceptile may not last forever on a Bench, and it's better to be safe than sorry.
Thanks in advance, guys/gals.
