To try to collect and preserve the history of champions within our game, we will be compiling a list with our collective knowledge and creating a document.

Ideally, when completed, I will begin the process of working with Bulbapedia (and maybe other sites, or in place of Bulbapedia) to have the information hosted and public.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/143LSKGMNnu0Rx96oomH62Qt172_ys5Bt_84WVKpdujw/edit?usp=sharing

The doucment is currently public and public editable. Within the document is also an embedded link to a question form to collect data on what lists were used to do well within these events.

I will *hopefully* get around to make the same for JRs and SRs, as well as INTL. For now, this is a massive undertaking, so I am keeping it relatively small.

Please feel free to make this an announcement or share it. This is a community project!

Thanks everyone.

Please feel free to add any and all missing information that you are aware of.

I only began it by completing Florida's states, and left the formatting- everything else has been done by contributors.

This is open for anyone to edit and modify (as I can always go back to an earlier revision if someone is a jerk and messes with stuff), so please join the initiative!

I gave the community a chance, and sure enough, some idiot decided to delete random stuff.

Goes to show how pathetic all of this is. Can't trust anyone. I'm absolutely disgusted.

If you want to edit this, and I see you as trustworthy, email me or message me, or message me on facebook (same name as username here).

[email protected]
or Ryan Vergel on facebook
or PM me here (though I will check this infrequently)

I thought so too... and for about 5 hours, there had been 240 people who had seen the document, many of whom edited- all without a problem. Then a rotten apple fell into the bunch...

started deleting random letters, changing a word here and there

turned CHAMPION into non-CHAMPION

honestly sad =\

I was hoping this could be a shining moment for the community where everyone could help and contribute. Not to mention this now adds MASSIVE administration time because I have to continually add emails and get messages from people with changes and errors.

I saw that person i was looking through and they were just movibg and deleting things and it said annonomys user and i was like what the heck as they were deleating the things i was reading like 20 mins ago

It's probably not worth my sending an email to edit since I have so little info, but I would like to note than in 2011, the winner of Utah States was Tyler Westover w/ Gengar/Vileplume/Dusknoir, and the winner of the 2011 Mountain West Regionals (in Utah that year) was Karl Kitchin w/ Luxray/Garchomp/Entei & Raikou Legend.

EDIT: Also, I (Ian Asplund) ran Mewtwo EX in my Idaho States winning list in 2012. It was strangely omitted from the list of main attackers.

IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS DOCUMENT AND WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE

Please leave a comment (upper right hand corner), and contributors will be able to see it, verify it, and resolve errors and additions to the document.

Thanks, everyone!

Any ideas of how to bring this to TPCi's attention?

It's all masters (who are all now 15 or older), so it won't have COPPA issues, but I would like to be able to have a bit of help from them, or something. Maybe if one of them goes to regionals I can talk to them.

Any help or recommendations is appreciated! They should have a wealth of information to help complete this history, and ultimately, I feel this benefits them. I can make sure to have it all branded/copyrighted correctly as well.

I (Andrew Jackson) was playing Jumpluff/Luxray in 2010. Looks like every event ive ever been to has been recorded now. So much for contributing XD

It's not massive, but:

Ohio States 2011:

1st Place: Reed Mascola (Speed Machamp)
2nd Place:Chance Nauman (Blaziken/Luxray/Garchomp-BLG)

It's funny because Reed Mascola is actually Canadian. So for the 2011 season, Ohio States Champion came from across the border

Fort Wayne Regionals 2013:

1st Place: Ross Cawthorn (Rayeels with Fliptini tech)
2nd Place: Henry Prior (Darkrai/Terrakion/Ho-Oh/Stunfisk)

Great Lakes (Ohio/Michigan/Indiana) Regionals 2010-2011)

1st Place: Jackson Iller (Luxchomp)
2nd Place: Adam Bruggerman (Luxchomp)

Are you interested in posting Seniors information as well?

---------- Post added 04/14/2013 at 10:51 AM ----------

Um, excuse me, but if kids are reading this then I would seriously suggest editing the US Nationals 2007 section (specifically the 2nd Place column). It seems that Hornung got a bit peeved at someone.
