Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Tournament report, "Osaka Cities 2008" - INTL/US Modified format tourney in Japan!

Dennis: I believe the metagame there are nothing gamebreaking, just the boring ol GG, Empo and Leafeon variants....

I mean they have UF eevee which setups for a very consistant MagLutions/Leafy Vx variants. I mean their card pool is wider,if I was there I wouldnt care and just play ex decks. They probably had GG already built probably during our autumn BRs and were like" Yea the americans are gonna use this deck like theirs no tommorow".

Look at the second photo, do you see MD Eevees? I guess we do see them therefore HP-MD format for them :)

the tourney is HP-MD,just like if they were in worlds, their is different im pretty sure ffrom what people said,

Tego what is their format??

It couldn't be DP-on format at that tournament since they were using Dugtrio with their Empoleon.

the whole POINT of the tourney was to give the japanese players experience with the format and tourney rules used worldwide...so the format was our modified, HP-on.

'mom

Cheers for giving the Japanese a chance to experience our format. I'm sure many worlds participants are comforted by them not having any SDs. Or do they?
