Hi I'm the new guy around here, after sometime of looking and reading many of your posts I found that this is a nice place to talk about TCG strategy and then after sometime I decide to register here, cuz I can see that you have the spirit of the tcg battles.

Well after this little presentation let's start ^_^ , here in Lima, Perú we fight tcg pokemon battles using the RS-on Format, but I want to try something for the HL-on mode, many of my friends now use a lot of pokemon Ex like Scizor Ex, Gardevoir Ex, Metagross Ex and other tank pokemon like Dark Steelix, I'm looking for Scizor Ex too, but I also like to try a strategy agaisnt many defensive pokemon Ex so I was thinking in use this deck:

Toxic Deck

Pokemon: 24
4 Paras FRLG (HL-on mode) / 4 Dunsparce (RS-on mode)
4 Zubat DX (surprise)
2 Dark Golbat
3 Dark Crobat
3 Koffings TRR
3 Weezing DX
2 Pidgey
1 Pidgeotto
2 Pidgeot

Trainer cards: 24
2 Desert ruins
2 Team Rocket's Hideout (HL-on) / 2 Low pressure system (RS-on)
2 Prof. Oak's research
2 Copycat
2 Steven's advice
1 TV reporter
2 Energy root
2 Protective orb
3 Celio's Network
3 Rare candy
1 Switch
1 Double full heal
1 Mr. Stone's Project

Energy cards: 12
4 Darkness energy

You need at least 4-5 more energies.
1x any card, is mostly not needed, because it deviates from cositancy and it will be rare when you get it.
So take out:
1x TVR
1x Mr. S. P.
1x Switch
1x DFH

Add:
2x Warp Energy
2x Grass Energy

but thats the great part of this deck it doesn't need many energy

-Double full Heal
-2 Portective Orbs
-1 Rockets Hideout

+Switch
+Desert Ruins
+Pokemon Retriever
+Celios Network
