Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen --GO NOW!

@Cali:

I don't think it makes sense to tell people to stop being so ignorant by believing critics, but then cite box office records to prove your point. I also don't appreciate you calling me names.

Aside from that...the racism goes deeper than Mudflap and Skids, and if "it was a black VA" is an adequate excuse for you I don't think we're operating on the same level.

Anyway, like I said, I'll see it eventually but I don't expect to enjoy it. Who knows, though, maybe I'll be blown away.

Is anyone here excited for G.I. JOE? Not to go off on a tangent, but, in my opinion, the G.I. JOE trailer makes TRANSFORMERS look like NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN. I wasn't really into G.I. Joe outside of a few comics, though.

I enjoyed STAR TREK & UP, very much disliked WOLVERINE & TERMINATOR, and I think I'm most looking forward to HARRY POTTER & 500 DAYS OF SUMMER this year. It seems to be a good Summer for movies, but I think its kind of getting overshadowed by last year when we had THE DARK KNIGHT, IRON MAN, etc.

Ha, anyway, enough rambling. Movies!

Umm... GI Joe looks decent, but nothing compared to Transformers. I can now tell the kind of movie goer you are by saying that you only enjoyed Star Trek (so-so) and Up (Fantastic). Wolverine and Terminator were also good movies, but oh well I guess some people in the world are limited to what they can enjoy. Personally I am very easily pleased as long as the movie delivers what it promises (which Transformers does.) The first one setup any kind of character development and the second one is a pure epic scale war.
I've read reviews who say the opposite of what you say. I'd have to agree with the reviews. I heard on the radio from a critic who said he had no idea who their target group is. IMO one movie was good enough, the movie looks horrible.

Michael Bay knows there are plenty of people that will enjoy his movies and he says he could not care less what critics say because it is the fans that matter. Critics are the worst pieces of trash to ever litter our entertainment industry because they can not even understand a movie that is not made for them. You even proved my point by stating the critic you heard had no idea who the target audience was. Thankfully there are professional marketing agencies that poll the international community and it was decided that one was not enough, but ok.

I wasn't saying G.I. JOE looked good, if that's how you took it.

You can tell what kind of movie goer I am? No offense, but for someone who loved WOLVERINE, TERMINATOR, and TRANSFORMERS, you're acting pretty pretentious here.

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed TRANSFORMERS, but it's probably not for me (and others in this thread, obviously), and I don't understand why you can't see that.

No I know you do not think GI Joe looks good...I did not love Wolverine or Terminator but being a fan of Xmen I enjoyed Wolverine and Terminator was fun to see. Transformers did not rub me the wrong way because of how open I am to movies. I understand that not everyone is into action flicks, but for me great battle and action scenes are a huge factor for entertainment. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy movies like Crash, No Country For Old Men, etc. but movies like 300, Transformers, Iron Man, and Terminator are always some of my favorites.
