Why wouldn't fisherman be a viable energy retriever, instead of Aarons?

It's a really fun deck to play. I went 4-2 the day I played it. It's not BDIF but can beat anything if it can get the lock.
 
yeah, someone played it at the BR's i went to today. its pretty cool to see in action but super mean at the same time. idk if he ended very well though lol
 
I did a few test runs over Redshark, few things I wasn't too fond of:

-Not starting with Sableye does hurt the speed some, as well as if you don't hit any Heads for Cyrus's Initiative to disable their opening hand
-Major lack of recovery; if you can't achieve the lock quickly enough, Wormadam Trash Cloaks can die off easily
-If you don't hit BTS, the deck also slows in that regard...shame there's no Stadium-searching Trainer/Supporter to fix that

So far, I'm thinking of adding in a Palmer's over Aaron's Collection, and just for me personally, upping the Energy a bit, as I really dislike playing with only 5 basic Energy, but again that's more of a personal thing.

Overall though I like the deck, when it works it works great, but it's been a pain trying to get the lock in for me, pieces just seem to keep not coming for whatever reason. Granted, this is my first time playing it so I'm not super experienced in running it yet, but those are my impressions so far.

Edit: Some Pokemon Communication could also be useful imo

I must admit, I've never seen a deck like this before. Great job on the deck. I'd love to test this thing out on my friends and at league.
 
May I suggest that you put in a pokemon that can move energys around? That way if they do get one on an attacker you can move it with ambipom or something. You would still have the lock up with the slowking.

I wonder if Primeape SV would work in this Deck.

I have been thinking about building a deck around him with Slowking or Chatot G.

Maybe I will try this deck with a Primeape Built in.
 
I must say, this is really cool! :D I think I may add my own twists in there, but over all, the way it locks, is so mean! XD
I think I will try it with Exeggutor LA and GiratinaLvX. Serving trash, bon apatite! ^^

... Also makes me wonder If the new Sharpedo CATS would tag team with Wormadam Trash Cloak...
 
This is an example of a rogue deck that's actually GOOD. All you people who play below tier 1 take note! ;)

Love the deck and the list. This is just like sablelock, you can beat almost any deck with this as long as you get popping T1-T2. Dialga+Deafen is pretty mean, but I imagine Deafen beats most red face powder decks anyway.

friendwent 3-3 with it i think. idk its a cool deck but i think if u have metal resistance or something it could get hard to keep the lock
 
^not so much but it is difficult. Also I played an Ambipom g to make the lock a little more effective
