Triumphant boosters with two or three rares?

At a Triumphant prerelease today my friend had two separate boosters with this incident, I watched him open both packs and instead of there being 5 commons, 3 uncommons, a rare and a reverse holo, there were 5 commons, 2 uncommons, 2 rares and a reverse holo. I opened a pack of my Prize Support cards after the tournament, and lo-and-behold, the same thing had happened to me. I got:
Golduck (this took the rare space)
Mew Prime (this took the RH space)
Drapion (holo) (this took the place of an uncommon)
That's 3 rares in total.

I also wanted to point out that there were exactly 40 people at the prerelease, so out of 320 boosters, 3 had the 2 rares instead of one (excluding LEGEND pieces, Primes or RH rares) so if you have bought a box of 36 Triumphant boosters, not had this error, and then tell me that this is impossible, shame on you.

Any more information on this incident? Has this happened to you? Is this a good thing or a bad thing in your view?
If you know of any other booster box or booster pack errors that are worth mentioning, feel free to post about those too.

Wow definittly very big luck ;D
This was probably a mistake, because at my Prerelease today there was no booster with 2 rares....

If I was lying about the whole situation then there would be no sense of acheivement and no point in me making this thread. I also did not think that it was such a miracle that pictures were compulsary. If I had provided pictures, what's to say that I didn't just grab some cards and throw them together?
I resent comment like that.

However if you really wish to have proof, ask Baroness Meena or Amarinimo, they were both there.

I know I have recieved doubles in older packs (Rotom + foil Rotom in MD, for example), but that was just because of the Reverse slot being taken up. Getting two rares and a prime is interesting indeed.

Sarcasm...........

this is totally possible if one of the rares was a legend piece, or a prime.
You can get a prime/legend piece + rare it's totally possible.
But 2 general rares isn't unless its RV holo rare/rare.

funny. I bought most of a box for the local gaming store and they only had one box of triumphant. I got a legend piece and another one of my buddies got 2 legend pieces out of the same box. I order another box online and when I opened it only 2 legend pieces. Someone messed up in our favor....yay!

Pics or it didn't happen.

Ahahahaha randumb Xd lol b is so cool

Derp.

Anyways, this hasn't ever happened, as far as I know. Either you are insane, you're friend was playing a joke on you, or it was a fluke on Pokemon's part. Point is, This isn't normal, as I recently got a box, and there wasn't a pack like that to be seen anywhere.

Your friend has some great luck though.

I'm not insane. I watched him open the boosters, and I watched myself open mine.
As I stated a few posts back what would be the point of me lying about it...

Well I wouldn't complain, sounds pretty lucky to me :)
I don't really see the point of someone lying about something as trivial as this, Laura wouldn't have anything to gain by it and it's not like Pokemon don't make minor errors like this sometimes. Think about the discoloured cards from Undaunted or the typos in Triumphant, it's the same concept, just human error.

At a BR, we watched a kid open 9 secret rare Pikachus out of an RR box. Mistakes happen - I'm glad to hear the mistake was in your favour.
