I've just started to get back into the Pokemon TCG after years of not playing, ever since my local Toys 'R' Us stopped holding a League, back when the TCG was still owned by Wizards of the Coast.
Well, the problem is I live in Flagler Beach, Florida, and I've checked the League Locator and there isn't a League within a three hours' drive. I'm homeschooled, so it's not like I can ask around at school for a group of players, and driving three hours every week to a League is ridiculous.
So, it's basically coming down to somehow finding a group of people to play with without all the perks of being in a League, or starting my own League when I turn eighteen next month, which will be a bit of a hassle (or wait until next year to see if someone starts a League closer to me).
I guess I'm just looking for a little advice. Anyone else having similar problems finding people to play with, and is anyone planning to start a League next year a little closer to me?
