Ugh, what a weekend. So much to look back on. For one, both events that I attended were tiring, but for the most part fun.
First comes Asheville, and I decided to play MetaNite for one day, and then a MetaLix variant on the other day. So, let's get things started.

Asheville.

Round 1: Random Flygon variant.
Not much to say here, I'm able to clear through the kid just by getting set up with a full MetaNite like set up. So, wasn't too hard.

1-0

Round 2: Matt R. (I think) Flygon variant.
I'm able to clear through without much problem, but it was a closer game then last. I get a pretty fast set up, and he builds up multiple Flygon's. It becomes a pile drive between the two, both exchanging prizes, but I'm able to KO a Flygon ex with Meta DS, and then just win the game from there.

2-0

Round 3: Dustox ex variant (Can't remember name)
This was another decently close game, but I'm able to clear through without much problem again, thanks to Latios*, and fast set ups. Not to mention, lucksacking, as always lol.

3-0

Round 4: Tom Wise (Mewtric variant)
This game came down to the wire, but we were both in regardless, so it was all good. We're both just exchanging blow after blow, and each down to game winning prizes. (Him: 1, Me: 2). But, he has a Ray ex d on bench, and I have two Beldum on bench. The bane to my existance (Ray), is used (Thanks to the help of Mew), and he takes out a Beldum for game.

3-1

So, I'm in the top, and I get a rematch with my oppenent from round 3.

Round 1: Dustox variant
Game 1: This game went by pretty fast. I'm able to just set up, and clear through without much difficulty.

Game 2: Pretty much the same as last time.

4-1

Round 2: Tom Wise (Mewtric)

Game 1: This game went by pretty fast. Both of us exchange *****, but what helped me MAJORLY, was the Latios ex d's Ice Barrier. With that attack, I"m able to build up and just win it.

Game 2: This game went by just as fast, and I can't remember all the details. I win it though, that much I can remember.

5-1

So, I'm able to take this city, thanks to the help of MetaNite. We end up heading over to GA from there, and wait for the next day...

Now, on to the second city of this week. We get to the hotel, and just crash from being very tired. The next day hits, and we head over to the store for the event.
This is where I played MetaLix, and I wish I had gone MetaNite instead.

Round 1: Charles B. (MetaNite)
This wasn't too hard, I'm able to set up pretty fast, and take control of the game with a Steelix. There wasn't much he could do, since he couldn't draw into much.
1-0
Round 2: Victor P. (Flariados)
Thank the lord I played 3 switch cards. But, he didn't get much in this game, and I'm getting set up and am able to take my time. So, another one that wasn't too hard.
2-0
Round 3: TJ. C. (Mirror!?)
Wow, I thought I was done in this game. He gets a fast Steelix, just with nothing to back it up. He KO's an Unown of mine, but then I formulate a plan. So, I get an Unown I up there, warp Point, have free retreat with Beldum d, get Unown back up, and bring up his Steelix ex to Burn/Confuse it. The flips weren't on his side either. After that, the game wasn't too hard.
3-0
Round 4: Kyle S. (MetaNite)
Aaaaaaaargh, I didn't want this to happen until next round. =(, so the game goes to be pretty close, both of us doing well on set up, but he prizing two very much needed things. Yet, he's able to pull it out and win.
3-1
Round 5: Aaron C. (Same as Kyle)
Eh, I made a huge error that cost me the game. Not much else to say.
3-2

So, I miss top cut sadly this time. All I can say is, I'm starting to hate my own MetaNite lol.

Props:
The Florida crew
The McDonalds near by (Kyle and Twitchy know why. ;D )
Kyle S.
Twitchy.
My parents, cuz hey, we wouldn't have been there otherwise.
MetaNite.
Keith, for letting me borrow the Unown M.
Sharpies.
I'll think of more..

Slops:
Miller's not being at GA. =(
The big mistake I made in round 5 of GA.

So, there ya have it folks.

Good job Mike! MetaNite is a beast and you play it very well. Once your turn starts, your whole side of the table is a blur and before I can blink, I lose. GG.

WTG Mike! Keep up the great work! I won't have to buy Kleenex (joke there buddy)! LOL! One more weekend to go! The key is to just get back on the horse and keep trying!
